For this short video, I am doing a quick Erinmore Flake Review. I Smoked the Erinmore in a Butz Choquin Albatross Leg Bone Pipe. This pipe style is still made, however they no longer allow the use of the Albatross Leg Bone... At least that's the rumor. Erinmore makes a few different types of the same tobacco. Erinmore mixture (a regular style cut), Erinmore Flake (a pressed flake), and Erinmore Cube Cut (No longer produced). The Erinmore Cube Cut is a rare find! I have a few tins, I believe they stopped making it between 1969 and 1972. Erinmore ages very well, so why not throw a tin or two in your cellar for when your a salty old sea dog... or pipe in my case! The music is by John Renborn & Robin Williamson of their album Wheel of Fortune. The song is called South Wind-Blarney Pilgrim. Here is the disclaimer for the music. The shin is the common name for the front of the lower leg bone (tibia) and its associated muscles and tendons. Muscles on the front of the leg (primarily the anterior tibialis) serve to point the toes and foot upwards (dorsiflexion). First, let's make a distinction between anterior shin splints and posterior shin splints. Anterior shin splints exist on the front of the leg. Posterior shin splints present pain along the inside edge of the lower leg. Posterior shin splints present pain along the inside edge of the lower leg. In some cases, bumps can also be felt along this area. They are typically caused by various muscle imbalances in this part of the leg. Flat arches, over-pronation (eversion), and activities that require frequent changes of direction can all contribute to posterior shin splints. Poor shoes and overactive calves (muscle imbalance) can also greatly increase the chances of developing posterior shin splints. Many times the shin splints arise from pain in the muscle due to overuse, but often times the pain can be due to stress fractures in the bone. This is often seen in those who "tough it out" and continue the painful activity without allowing for sufficient recovery. Treatment always entails rest and avoiding the activity that caused the pain. Shin splints start out as a minor annoyance, but can become debilitating if not allowed to heal in the early stages. Ice and anti-inflammatories will help reduce the pain and inflammation, but should not be used to ...

In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Oven Roast Turkey Legs. These turkey legs are salted, and then roasted in a roasting pan in the oven for slightly more than an hour. This is an easy and convenient way to have roast turkey without going to a lot of trouble. Also, the turkey legs provide more flavor than the white meat portion of turkey. Ingredients: 2 turkey legs, about 1 pound each (You may use more, if you like.) Salt, to taste Wash the turkey legs and dry them with paper toweling. Salt the turkey legs, to taste, working the salt in with your hands. Place the turkey legs in a roasting pan and cover it with a lid. Roast the turkey legs in a 350-degree oven for slightly over an hour. Start checking for doneness after about an hour. The turkey legs are done when a meat thermometer reads 180 degrees. Remove turkey legs from the roasting pan and place on a platter or cutting board for slicing. Slice the meat from the turkey legs carefully, since there are quite a few bone shards in addition to the main turkey leg bone. Serve the sliced turkey leg meat on a nice platter. You can make wonderful fat-free turkey gravy from the juices in the roasting pan. The recipe is available in bettyskitchen. Cooking up a Bone in Leg of Lamb low and slow on the Brinkman SmokeNPIT using a combination of apple and maple hard wood. Rinse and let dry your leg, then sprinkle with salt and a combination of 4-3-2-1-Spice, Knox Spice Co.'s Chipotle and Cracked Pepper dry rubs patting into the lamb. Slightly sear outside of lamb being careful not to break the skin, then low and slow it around 180 to 220 degrees for 8 hours. Once heated through scorch the tough outer skin off and let rest in a cold oven for 15 plus minutes and then slice and serve.
