4. February we arrived at the bay infront of Trinity Island. We went with the zodiacs for a tour towards Spert Island to the so called "Iceberg Graveyard". It was a wonderfully day and, on top of all, we have been very lucky spotting some Leopard Seals. They do have a rest on the iceshields so we could get very close to them :-)

From NBP0808, on the winter cruise the Palmer had no extra ops so the PIs were nice enough to give us a day of fun in the snow on King George Island. While in the zodiac the new marine techs got some training driving the zodiacs through ice, where we found Mr. Leopard Seal. We sound enthused but truth be told if he wanted to, this guy could sink us. Mr. Leopard Seal has also been known to drown divers at Palmer. The Ooos and Aaaas are also accompanied silently by fear and respect....

Cami ran all the way to Central Dock. She was ALL out of breath. She glanced to find the boat. Cami: Where the heck am I going to find the Maine boat? She looked to find a BIG boat that said the MAINE cruiser. Cami: Of course Cami ran up to the boat. The guys were just untying it from the dock. Cami screamed. Cami: NO! Runs up to one of the guys- Man: Can I help you? Cami: I NEED TO GET ON THAT BOAT! Man: Sorry thats not possible. Cami: WELL FINE! Begins to walk away but gets an The boat was only a few feet awayCami ran towards the dock and jumped off. She began to swim to the boat. Man: THATS A BAD IDEA! THERE ARE LEOPARD SEALS AND WHALES AND MORE! Cami: -scared and swims faster- She swims and is a few inches away from the boat. She hears a slight splash. There was a leopard seal a few feet away. She quickly latched onto the boat and climbed up the attached ladder. It only led her so far. She was stuck half way up to the main floor. Cami: HELP! SOME ONE! All that was around her was a round window. This called for an emergency. She punched the window over and over. COME ON! She was cold, wet, and was just wearing jeans and a tank top. She reaches into her pocket and finds something that might save her life. With Nick- Nick walks over to Joe, Mel, and Kevin. Nick: Hey guys, do you know where Cami is? Your right, I need to talk to her. Joe: Miley knows. Nick: Oh my god. But Selena went with Miley yesterday! Where is Selena? Kevin: I'm guessing not with Miley. Nick: Why would you say that? It was covered in aqua and orange colors. Cami felt like she was in heaven. She looked all around the ship and saw all different activities. There was swimming, massages, shops, teen room, and so much more. She thought about going to get a massage, but remembered the plan. She looked all around for Selena. All there was, was a few people and a group of fans asking for- Wait a minute. Cami: SELENA! Selena excused herself away from the fans. Selena: -Crying- What are you doing here. Cami: I'm so sorry. Selena: Like youd care, I was strapped onto a luggage cart and pushed in. I have VIP treatment. So what?! I cant see my boyfriend, friends or FAMILY! Cami: Well, youre not alone. Selena: What? Cami: I jumped off the dock, swam here and tried to find you to save you. Selena: Well if we EVER get off this thing, we have to ask some one NOW. Cami: Good plan. They run off to find some one to turn around the boat.
