This is Lesotho. A small mountainous Kingdom entirely surrounded by South Africa. I spent several years of my childhood here and when I returned as a young man, passionate about mountain biking, I re discovered paradise. Forget fences, forget limits, forget riding as you seen it before. A dream was born. An endurance mountain bike race for only the toughest of riders. 6 days, 500 km, 14 000 m of climbing. I wanted to see riders on paths taken only by herdboys and animals. I wanted to share with others the untamed beauty of this country, it's rugged landscapes and the warmth of its people. An experience which I'm not sure how to put into words. A place which people simply need to come and see for themselves. This is Lesotho Sky. By: Christian Schmidt Lesotho Sky mountain bike race was filmed by Red Sky Media.
