President Obama is moving forward with the controversial project to make all medical records electronic. The president tapped Harvard medical school professor David Blumenthal to start a federal health information network. The system would allow doctors to share information over the Internet. The project is a hot topic with doctors here in the Bay area, partly because more Bay area doctors are actually making the switch to a computerized system. Basically access to information becomes an issue, said Dr. Chris Politis, an urologist in St. Petersburg. Youre not familiar with the technology, Stein said. One physician I talked to even found that it cuts time on her patient interaction because she has to put things in her records. Theres also concern about clicking ...

Beyond Reality - Beauty & the Geek 3/21/08 Last week John was sent home. Challenge - the Beauties & Geeks are going to compete in a talent show. The girls are pretty much void of talent and even though they spend many hours trying to think of someting to do - they come up emptyhanded. The geeks realize they need to be creative and put together a show combining all of the little things each one can do to make a variety type show. The Beauties & Geeks play spin the bottle and its somewhat of an eye opening experience for the geeks. Amber is throwing herself at Tommy and he just doesn't understand that he's being used. Talent show - The girls were just awful - not even their sex appeal could save them. The boys were just fantastic - their hard work paid off and their show was pretty entertaining. The audience voted and the Geeks won. The geeks get to send 5 Beauties to the elimination room. Some girls are studying and some are trying to suck up to the Geeks. The Geeks have a long & boring meeting. At the stair ceremony they decide to send Amanda, Kristina, Jillian, Amber & Randi. Amber has a fit when they don't include Letitia. Amanda, Kristina & Jillian all answer questions. Its down to Amber & Randi. After some theatrics Amber is eliminated. Next week - Its flag football gone wild and the game will change its course.
