After months of speculation, singer Mariah Carey confirms she is pregnant. Carey revealed during an exclusive interview with ''Access Hollywood'' that aired on NBC's ''Today'' show this morning that she and husband Nick Cannon are expecting their first child. Carey didn't reveal a due date, saying only "it's still early...I'm expecting in the spring." TMZ says the woman who locked herself in the bathroom of Charlie Sheen's hotel room this week is speaking out. Capri Anderson claims Sheen "allegedly held her against her will." ''People'' magazine reports that Academy Award-winning producer and actress Lisa Blount was found dead in her Little Rock, Arkansas, home on Wednesday. The 53-year-old Blount starred in ''An Officer and a Gentleman.'' Billy Ray Cyrus and wife Tish Cyrus have announced their divorcing after 17 years of marriage. The couple, parents of Miley Cyrus, confirmed the news to ''People'' magazine. President Obama appeared on the ''Daily Show'' last night, for a sit down interview with Jon Stewart. The ''Washington Post'' says Obama didn't crack many jokes during the chat with Stewart about the economy, the upcoming mid-term elections and other "hot" topics. "Lisa Blount, an Academy Award-winning producer and actress born in Arkansas, died at the age of 53. The local paper, the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, said that Blount was found dead Wednesday at her home in Little Rock by her mother. Her husband, Ray McKinnon, was out of town that week. The county coroner told the paper that there were no signs of foul play and that Blount appeared to have passed on Monday."

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) -- Lisa Blount, an actress and Oscar-winning filmmaker, was found dead in her home in Little Rock, Ark., on Wednesday by her mother. She was 53. According to Pulaski County Coroner Garland Camper, Blount likely died Monday. He said there were no signs of foul play. Blount, as producer, and her husband Roy McKinnon, as director and star, won Academy Awards in 2002 when "The Accountant" was named best live-action short film. Blount received a Golden Globe nomination for her supporting turn as the best friend of Debra Winger's character in "An Officer and a Gentleman." Her other credits included "Prince of Darkness" and "Great Balls of Fire!" Blount recently filmed the pilot for FX's "Outlaw Country." A native of Arkansas, she and McKinnon moved to Little Rock in 2005.

The intense fight scene from the motion picture Chrystal (2004) that coincides with Chrystal (Lisa Blount) singing a beautiful folk song. From what I've gathered, this is actually Lisa singing. She also apparently did this on the first take. If you have not seen this movie, you should check it out. The music is great and the story is very good, as well.

Trivia # The characters Lyle Pike and Tector Pike were named after three characters from The Wild Bunch (1969): Lyle and Tector Gorch (Ben Johnson, Warren Oates) and Pike Bishop (William Holden). # Based on the Zatoichi film/TV series from Japan. # CASTLE THUNDER: Heard in the background when Slag wakes up in the middle of the corn field during the rain. # Tim Matheson was introduced to producer Daniel Grodnik by writer Charles Robert Carner. Tim was interested in learning how to produce. Grodnik told him, "if you ever bring me a piece of material that I like, you can be a producer on it with me." 2 weeks later Matheson screened 'Zatoichi Challenged' for Grodnik to develop as an American remake. It took 7 years, 3 studios, 2 directors, and 11 drafts of the script to finally get the film about a blind samurai in America made.
