i made this slide show to remember my son and to raise awareness about open neural tube defects like anencephaly (which is fatal). my son lived for almost 4 hours after birth by the grace of God. the odds were against him because about 75% of children do not live full term or through the stress of labor and delivery. taylor did and we took as many pictures as we could to document his short but meaningful and precious life. to cupels that might be faced with the situation that you just found out you little baby that is in side of you has this birth defect. i encourage you to continue with the pregnancy. celebrate the miracle that the baby was conceived. find healing in the fact that the child has to opportunity to touch lives and give others strength. these children remind us all how precious each and every life is even if they don't get to take a breath. all i can say is that i have found healing in how other mothers and fathers and people planing on have kids have been touched by my sons life. my son was loved and will always be remembered. i have found healing in helping other couples find a small sense of peace when faced with what could possibly be one of the worst things in life. i am so glad that i got to see, hold and kiss my son even after he past. i want to thank all of my family, friends, the tripler army hospital staff and scott from NILMDTS. thank you for taking the time to view this and share in remembering my son
This mare was in trouble and was totally exhausted. I had my Vet on the phone and he helped. This was the first time I had to assist a mare. This is a full live birth of a gypsy cob horse (dam) giving birth with assistance from Mike Nenni at his farm. The Sire is SD Laddie and the Mare is Royal Princess. The baby is named BHS Gina and is available for sale. The audio is actual and you can tell from the voices that it was stressful to the people involved.

It's a small thing but it only costs you to subscribe to be part of it :) UPDATE I found a short video of after the birth giving the baby to his mother and its cute, so you see the mom is happy with the work we did :p due to the many unpleasent comments i received about the man pulling the foal, i decided to explain why he did. first the owner of this farm takes really good care of these horses, and he would not attempt anything that might give any of them even a small scratch. second the reason why a man was helping that horse is because if the horse does this on her own, she will be in much more pain for a much longer time, another thing is, if the horse gets tired why the foal is not out yet, she got cause a suffocation for the baby and take its life away, moreover, the horse could die with the foal if she gets tired. now please stop commenting about things you dont understand and i appreciate the fact that some people defended the actions in this video.

She got to the hospital at 4cm and the doctor popped her water. She had abnormally strong contractions and dilated from 4 cm to 10cm and pushed him out within LESS then 2 hours after showing up to the hospital. The doctors didn't have enough time to give her any anesthesia. Her IV didn't even have time to finish..... The contractions were so strong that baby was actually coming out of the birth canal and the babies head was completely out of her vagina before she even started pushing!

Thomas Beatie, the US "pregnant man" who gave birth to a daughter in June, is expecting his second child. Mr Beatie was born female but underwent gender reassignment and is now legally male. He kept his female reproductive organs so he could have a family. Thomas Beatie grew up in Hawaii as Tracy Lagondin, but began to live as a man when he was in his twenties. He had breast surgery to remove glands and flatten his chest but kept his female reproductive organs. He has been married to his wife, Nancy, for five years and the couple bought sperm from a donor when they decided to start a family. Mr Beatie gave birth to their baby daughter, Susan, the natural way, after a lengthy labour. After the birth, he did not resume taking male hormones because the couple wanted to have another baby. The couple's second child is due on 12 June.

When I was 18 years old , doctors told me my chances of getting pregnant were slim to none. I am 30 years old right now and you could imagine my excitement when on may 30,2008 I took a pregnancy test and it said positive. I started crying so bad I was soooo happy, IM PREGNANT i pretty much screamed it. Well on September 16th I was 21 weeks 5 days pregnant, I went to my doctors appointment and listened to her heartbeat and they said everything was great. By the time i got home from RI i live in Ma...My pants felt wet and i knew i didnt pee myself so what the hell was it? Started getting cramps so i decided to go to the ER, where they told my cervix was 4cm dialated and there was nothing they could do but wait, and that my water will probably break. 2 hours after getting to woman and infants, my water broke and i knew my baby was dying. They told me that I had to deliver her. Knowing she was dead. So on September 17,2008 I have birth to a beautiful 14 oz baby girl with brown hair and we named her Brooke Elizabeth Backlund. Baby Ella was born on July 17, 2008. Four days earlier I had been admitted to the hospital as I spontaneously dilated and Ella's water sac had begun descending into the canal at just 21 weeks gestation. I was told by many to just "get it over with" and begin induction as Ella would not likely live. However, my wonderful husband and I would not choose certain death when I had the option to lie in the hospital in the trendelinberg position to ease the water sac back through the cervix. After 48 hours of doing so, there was no change in my condition. Ella was still exposed to infection as was myself, but we were not about to give up. Two more days went by and we hung onto the hope that something would change. However, the only thing that did was that Ella and I now had an infection and there was no way to turn back the clock for her. My wonderful doctor (who was the only medical professional who refused to give up on us) delivered the news on that Thursday around 12:40pm. It was no longer my duty to try to save Ella...if we wanted to see her alive, we would have to deliver her as soon as possible. With my family beside me, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl who was perfect in every way. My husband and I baptized her immediately and we witnessed her tiny body move and her delicate hand grasp the ring that her daddy tried to place on her fingers...she was so strong. And Ella began to suck on my finger as I brushed it against her tiny cheek. It was a beautiful experience ...
