Hi everyone, This was never supposed to be my first post on here but i've just had 2 companies go bust on my small engineering company and i have to take steps at making sure i'm able to cover the huge loss or i will have to close. My weekend love is on the list to go.........as one piece or many. It would be a crying shame to see my beauty broken up but if offers aren't high enough out will come the spanners. The car is taxed and mot'd and i think, in very good condition. I have a load of receipts for the car and full service history. This car was built as a marketing tool by a local garage in Nottingham called WK Auto Solutions. The owner,Wayne has previously built an escort zvh, which was a magazine cover car for Fast Ford. I think the work is absolutely brilliant with the attention to detail incredible in places. The donor car Wayne sourced originally was the best example available at the time. As i have my other cars worked on at WK i saw the fiesta at various stages of the build and was always fascinated with the extent of the modifying but never thought i'd get to own it. The car was built and ready for Ultimate Street Car 2009 at Santa Pod after nearly a 2 year build. As it turned out in the end,.......Wayne took his freshly tuned Evo to do some testing on the strip. So the fiesta never made it! The car got sold soon after USC to a friend of Wayne's.............Only to return 3 weeks later with the new owner asking if he knew anyone interested in it. He had driven ...
This is the first nice day we have had all year. It is sunny and 72. So I decided to take advantage of the BEAUTIFUL weather and hunt for some bargains at local yard sales. There were not too many yard sales listed in the paper or online; but as I was diving around the area, I saw them everywhere. Nothing like waiting to the last minute.

Shot on 5 cameras with my family on Thanksgiving (just now got around to editing): Me (in the blue shirt) - Canon 7D Auntie Stacy - Nikon D90 (stills) Uncle Justin - Canon SX1 Trinity - Bell & Howell Filmosound Super 8 Model 442 Isaac - Pentax z10 ...and Isa, a bit past her naptime, on the magnifying glass I picked up the B&H Super 8 film camera at a local garage sale and purchased the film from Precision Camera here in Austin, TX. Film developing was by Dwayne's Photo (www.dwaynesphoto.com) in KS. It was tough mixing mediums here, the super 8 footage didn't lend for great lead in to the HD footage from the SX1 and 7D. Enter editing. All files imported and dragged into timeline in FCE. I had a lot of bad super 8 frames I manually had to discard one by one, otherwise everything just worked. Exported at 24 fps, 720p and uploaded to Vimeo at low-med export resolution for (hopefully) quick buffering. Thanks to my super family for a great holiday 2009!
www.WindEnergyGuide.net - How to Make Wind Turbines on Your Own Over the last couple of years solar power generators have become more and more popular due to our hard economical times. Thousands of solar power systems are being installed domestically every day. Not only people lower their energy bills but Wind Turbines are also safe for the environment. Read on if you're interested in making your own Wind Turbines that can drastically reduce your energy bills month after month. Normally a ready made solar panel costs up to a few thousands and I'm sure not everyone wants to make such an investment. This is the reason why more and more people are deciding to build their own Wind Turbines right in their own backyard. All the parts that you need to build a solar system don't cost you more than $200 dollars depending on where you buy the parts from. (We've researched the Internet for a while and noticed that the solar cells for example are the cheapest to buy online -- as low as $1 per cell.) In fact the photovoltaic cell is the most important part of the system. Each panel contains a set of solar cells that are wired up with copper in series. Even a 200 watt solar panel produces enough energy to either charge a battery for further use or to be converted directly into AC voltage for domestic use. If you decide to start building you own Wind Turbines you need to have all the required parts such as photovoltaic cells, copper wire, boards, glass and all the other required tools ...

You don't have to be a certified master bladesmith working with highly refined steel to craft a quality knife suitable for self-defense or general utility. All you need are a few simple tools, some time, and metals anyone can scrounge from garage sales, building sites, or even the local dump. Survival authority, artisan, and neo-tribal weapons expert Jason Hawk has been forging greatly sought-after blades for years out of both high-quality steel and found materials, and in this video he teaches you how easy, inexpensive, and fun it is to forge weapons that will last a lifetime. He begins by showing you how to make your own forge and anvil out of a few cheap items, and then goes into testing found steel to see if it can be worked with. From there, he teaches basic hammering, shaping, and heat-treating to guarantee that your finished products will hold up under the wear and tear of real use. Focusing on two projects, a knife and an axe/adze, this video will give you not only vital survival skills, but also the knowledge and confidence to make your own weapons and tools no matter how primitive your surroundings are. During the 5 years I lived in Japan, I kept a storage unit for all the stuff I couldn't take with me - tons of DVDs, CDs, comic books and all my beloved Laserdiscs. I even have two players - one that works and one that is broken that I kept for parts. But now that I'm back, and thinking that I'll be going back to Japan in 2010 for another extended stay, it just doesn't make sense for me to hold on to all this stuff, and pay the $75/month storage fee. So I'm torn between trying to sell my discs on Ebay, trading them in at a local CD/DVD shop for trade credit, or trying to sell a few at the garage sale my folks are having this weekend. I would like to keep a few, but the ones I keep will just end up back in storage. If you had an LD player - what did you do with all your discs as you switched over to DVD/Blu-Ray? Thanks for watching. -Jason

Trying to catch the last few rays of summer, I hopped on my bike on September 12, 2009 to see whats going on in the city. My research had revealed that the Cabbagetown Festival was on, so on a gorgeous day with brilliant blue skies I cycled down the Don Valley bike path and pushed my bike up the steep bridge onto the Riverdale Footbridge. Moments later I had arrived at Riverdale Farm which was buzzing with people. In addition to the regular visitors to this urban farm there were thousands of other visitors who were here to enjoy the Cabbagetown Festival. Children were participating in various games such as a sunflower seed spitting contest while some time later a country music band was making the young ones dance. Officially called the Cabbagetown Arts & Craft Sale and Riverdale Farm Fair, this festival has been going for more than 20 years. In Riverdale Park I strolled past dozens of vending booths that were selling all sorts of art and crafts, from paintings to pottery to fine hand-made jewelry and fabric art to hand-made soaps and many other creative products. The entire Cabbagetown neighbourhood had essentially become a big street sale because local residents were also holding garage sales on their front lawns. Vendor booths and live music were set up on Parliament, the major north-south thoroughfare which had been turned into a pedestrian zone. The entire neighbourhood was abuzz was visitors from near and far. During the mid-afternoon I happened to come across a ...

Part 1 of 2 This is yet another video I made, this time I show how I used an old Rowing Exercise machine and scavenged the Rail unit from it, to use as a Linear Slide rail for the Scorbot. These Units are very rugged and you can pick them up at garage sales quite cheep or in the local classified adds in the newspaper. They are easily hooked up to a Pittman motor with an Encoder that uses the auxiliary Motor ports on the Scorbot controllers. Join the Scorbot Yahoo Group Today!! tech.groups.yahoo.com Enjoy. :)

Every year our friend Kim goes to the local "Boy Scout Garage Sale." And every year she comes back with a whole new wardrobe. To hear her talk about it you'd think she found the Smurf village of garage sales. So... this year we decided we'd see for ourselves and go stake it out early, then film her while she was joyously shopping. We did, and this is the result. I will say too she asked me to post this on here. She absolutely loved the video!
Over the weekend we visited a garage sale a friend of ours was having. We found a few cool things. Since the video got too long to quickly, I'm not showing off what we got. Maybe in a later video....
