Had a bet with my friend and lost. Had to stand outside the Pepsi Center (Denver Nuggets court) in Denver, Colorado in a Los Angeles Lakers jersey. I couldn't find a Lakers jersey anywhere in town so I made a homemade jersey. I had a lot of fun with this, I also mocked Kobe Bryant with his white photo shoot. Shout out to my boy Doe Dollaz and Mack Mobb.
Officers did their best to contain rowdy fans, but several arrests were made. After the NBA Finals, the Lakers beat the Celtics and Lakers fans poured into the streets, burning and rioting in the streets. Rowdy fans fought and started bonfires in the streets, and were also seen surrounding and attacking motorists outside the Staples Center after the Lakers 83-79 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the NBA finals. Nine people had been arrested for public intoxication, vandalism, and inciting a riot, but that number was expected to rise, Los Angeles police spokeswoman Mary Grady said. Rocks, bottles, and even one rat trap are reported to have been thrown at officers, according to LAPD Spokeswoman April Harding. Police reportedly fired rubber bullets at fans who overturned a city vehicle and set several fires in the area of At Figueroa and Venice. A mob of people was caught on camera surrounding a taxi attempting to leave the Staples Center, then trapping the vehicle before hitting, rocking, and jumping on it, then opening the passengers door. Another mob of people were seen knocking over a Caltrans barrier, then kicking it around a street. One driver had to abandon their car and run to safety when aggressive revelers lit the motorist's car on fire. The flames were seen spreading to the entire car interior and the culprits fled as police and fire officials closed in. A person in a Celtics jersey was seen being beaten by several people on the street in the area of ...

Wilt Chamberlain's San Francisco Warriors playing at Los Angeles in a 1964 NBA regular season game, highlights of Wilt Chamberlain playing with the awesome blue San Francisco Warriors jersey, arguable greatest NBA jersey ever. Right now it's almost impossible that i can find new footage of Wilt Chamberlain never uplaoded to my channel so this is only 40 seconds, but golden. Some nice fade aways by Wilt. I had watched Wilt like that in photos but never video footage. In fact, it's the oldest NBA footage of Witl in colour.
PLEASE READ THIS FIRST: THESE ARE ONLY LAKERS HIGHLIGHTS. these are made in HD by JD2K and he only makes highlights for laker plays NOT for the opposing team. Lakers: 93 Grizzlies: 95 Current Record: 37-12 Next Game: (2/3) vs Charlotte Bobcats Kobe Bryant got the Los Angeles Lakers franchise scoring record, but the Memphis Grizzlies spoiled the celebration. Bryant scored 44 points, passing Jerry West as the Lakers career scorer, but it wasnt enough as the Grizzlies got 22 points and 17 rebounds from Zach Randolph to defeat the Lakers 95-93 on Monday night. Its a great honor to say the least (because) of the great players that have played here and the tradition we have, Bryant said of becoming the Lakers career leading scorer. (West) taught me so much when I was 17 years old. He showed me a lot about the game, the jump shot and spin moves and all the others. Even though its me passing him in the record books, its still us, and its still Magic and all the other great players. While the focus was on Bryant and the Lakers record, Memphis held on for the victory. Rudy Gay led the Grizzlies with 25 points, and his 3-pointer with 29.5 seconds left helped Memphis end its two-game losing streak. The basket was just enough for Memphis to escape with the win after holding 11-point leads in both halves. Ron Artests 3-point attempt from the right side bounced high off the rim as the horn sounded, snapping the Lakers four-game winning streak. I thought it was good, Artest said of the ...

President Barack Obama welcomed the NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers to the White House on Monday, praising the team for their accomplishments on the basketball court and their service in the community. An avid basketball fan himself, Obama said he gets enormous pleasure from watching excellence on the court -- and nobody exemplified excellence more than the Lakers last year, as they won their 15th league title, defeating the Orlando Magic. Obama said he was especially excited to meet Lakers' coach Phil Jackson, who has won 10 championships, though he didn't hesitate to point out that six of those victories were with Obama's hometown Chicago Bulls. "You remember that," Obama joked with former Lakers all-star Magic Johnson, who was on the losing end of the Bulls 1991 victory. Obama commended the Lakers players not only for their athletic achievements, but also their work off ...

Date: December 20, 2009 Palace of Auburn Hills, Detroit,MI First of all, all video credits to JD2K for this one! Ron Artest didn't think the Los Angeles Lakers deserved any extra credit for beating the Detroit Pistons Sunday evening, even after an early-morning flight. After whipping the New Jersey Nets Saturday night, the Lakers did not arrive at their Detroit-area hotel until 4 am Sunday and most of the players didn't fall asleep for another hour or two. They were delayed by the snowstorm that ravaged the East Coast but still overpowered the shorthanded Pistons 93-81. "Detroit was undermanned," said Artest, who was solid all-around with 14 points, nine assists, six steals and five rebounds. "I'm not going to be fooled and act like we did something special. Detroit didn't have their whole team." Tayshaun Prince, Richard Hamilton and Ben Gordon were once again sidelined by injuries as the Pistons lost their fourth straight, all to Western Conference opponents. The Lakers, who have the league's top record, won for the 15th time in 16 games. An unsavory ending also left the Lakers feeling like they played a very ordinary game. They only scored 10 fourth-quarter points as the Pistons climbed within eight after trailing by double digits most of the way. Phil Jackson was forced to play Kobe Bryant, Artest and Pau Gasol six fourth-quarter minutes because their bench couldn't finish the job. "The way we ended that game, I hate that," Lamar Odom said. "That's like my pet peeve ...

Date: December 19, 2009 IZOD Center, New Jersey,NJ First of all, all video credits to JD2K for this one. There were distractions if you really cared to look for them in the Lakers' 103-84 romp over the Nets on Saturday night at the Izod Center. There was a blizzard outside that promised to wreak havoc on Los Angeles' travel plans. There was some pre-game talk by Phil Jackson about the uncertainty of his future after this season. And most shockingly, there was a Nets' halftime lead. But as Lakers forward Lamar Odom said: "This is a business trip." And for the defending NBA champions - and Nets - it really was business as usual in the end. Kobe Bryant recorded 29 points, 10 rebounds and five assists to lead Los Angeles to its third straight win - after a couple of days off. "We just got back to defense in the second half," Bryant said. "I mean, to me, it was really about having a couple of days off. So our rhythm was off (in the first half). We weren't on the string defensively. The second start of the second half, we were picking it back up and getting back in sync." Rate, Comment and SUBSCRIBE! Lakers2010season

JD2K highlights in HD Lakers: 103 Nets: 84 Current Record: 21-4 Next game: Sunday (12/20) @ Detroit Pistons Thats three straight wins on the road for the Los Angeles Lakers after opening their trip with a loss at Utah. Better play? Maybe. Worse competition? Definitely. Kobe Bryant had 29 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Lakers to a 103-84 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Saturday night in a matchup of the NBAs best and worst teams. Asked what his team was doing better in victories over Chicago, Milwaukee and New Jersey, Lakers coach Phil Jackson said, Were picking some better opponents. The schedule favored us, Jackson added. These teams are not .500 teams and Utah is a very good team on their home floor, so some of it has to do with the competition. But I think we played a little bit better. Having Bryant helps, too. The Nets dropped their seventh straight, but the game was competitive into the third quarter, when Bryant started taking over about the time the leagues lowest-scoring team was enduring one of its usual droughts. I needed a little burst there to get us back in that game pretty quick, said Bryant, who thought the Lakers were rusty in the first half after not playing since Wednesday. You dont want New Jersey getting any more confidence. They got it to about a six-point advantage and you dont want them to get any further so I kind of turned it on a little bit. Pau Gasol had 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Lakers, who improved to 21-4 heading into the ...
