The Yearling anime series from 1983. English dub. Based on Pulitzer prized novel of the same name from Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, this series is widely considered to be one of the lost pearls of anime. I have about 40 episodes of the total of 52 and I intend to upload all of them in random order. Every episode will be loaded in three segments, each of them about 8 minutes. Many of these episodes come from old VHS and 16mm tapes and are reduced here to accommodate web viewing, so please don't mind quality issues too much. 27 episodes out of 40 I own have finnish subtitles, please don't mind that too much either :) This series is my personal favorite and I feel it has been wrongly neglected far too long. That's why I decided to share these eps with you all.

A speed run of the obscure Super Mario Borthers 2 (the real one, only released in Japan, until now), I did not run it, this was done by Andrew Gardikis in 8:34. This is from www.speeddemoarchive.com. Author's comments: Thanks to Mike for transferring my tape to DVD! Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japan) has always been known as being much tougher than the original version. This game has more of a goal to try and kill you at various points, such as adding poison mushrooms in boxes which are hard to not hit. It's a pretty challanging game at points. I've been wanting to do this run ever since I found out that this game was released on the Wii's Virtual console. Unfortunately I do not have a Wii at the moment, so I did this run when my friend came over my house. I've been practicing "The Lost Levels" on the SNES version, so I had enough practice to complete this run rather quickly. The time is around an 8:34, which is a decent time, but obviously because I do not own this game I made many mistakes. Still, it's the basically the same as Smb gameplay.(except for when you bounce off of enemies) I think the limit for a speedrun of this game would be around an 8:10. Although the TAS is around 7:54 (ouch). I noticed that in nearly every level during this run, I had some bad luck and had to change my original route a lot of the time. So here and there I lost 1-3 seconds in a few levels, and I accidentally got 3 fireworks in one level. The fireworks are based on the number of coins you have ...

After House Of Krazees broke up in 1998, The ROC began a new project called The Howse. He went and recruited some local Detroit rappers/friends and signed them to Latnem Entertainment, to create The Howse. The artists that comprised this group consisted of Mr. Vitology (AKA Armageddon), Black Widow, and The Beast. This group only released a handful of samplers and a full length album called "Esohpromatem" (Metamorphose Backwards). Speculation has it that there is an unreleased Howse album out there. The Beast is currently Morpheus of The Indigenous Tribe & The Black Widow is now known as Mizz Korona (she was the female mc in the parking lot freestyling on 8 Mile). The Howse split up for unknown reasons, a year after the release of "Esohpromatem". There is no track listing for the sampler; it's just a promo tape with freestyles and samples of "Esohpromatem". We have here a very interesting video about the game The Lost World: Jurassic Park for the PlayStation and the Sega Saturn. Showing footage of Dreamworks Interactive's E3 1997 booth and, even better, beta footage from the game taken from trailers? direct feed footage? promotional tape?, the clips shows many differences compared to the final product. Here's some of them that I noticed, but as I haven't finished the game yet and never played the Saturn version, I probably missed a lot of stuff: Most clips: The instinct indicator is a red bar instead of the eye. 0:11: No bars at all! 0:38: Tropical forest missing on the bottom of the animated logo. 1:06: No weapon sound, there's also no Raptors in the final level. 1:15: There isn't supposed to be a Pachy there (well, I think it's a dead Pachy on the ground...), no grabbing hook sound, there's no spikes at that place in the final level, and enemies missing? 1:22: No weapon sound? 1:30: We can see that there's no tree tops (oops...), the Carnotaurus seems smaller, different Compy model (Saturn version?), it also doesn't die after being thrown in the air and... A purple bar? 1:33: Different T-rex model (Saturn version?), energy bar missing?, and instinct indicator bar looks simpler made, like the purple bar at 1:30.
