The effects of this eclipse will bring to our attention old conversations, agreements we made, and all forms of communication from the last six months. Being that we have this eclipse at the last degree of Gemini and this rules the throat charka some of us may need to make amends, forgive others, or ourselves for past interactions. We are being asked to release our wounds in this regards so we can move forward and not hold on to the past, release past actions, or that of others. Forgiving and saying this is a key component with this eclipse.

www.kairosastrology.co.uk - on 21st December this year, 2010, just before dawn on the Winter Solstice - 21st December, with the Sun conjunct the centre of the galactic plane, there is a lunar eclipse. It is a major astrological event - a gateway to 2012. Astrologer John Wadsworth discusses its significance here - with images of the lunar eclipse phenonemon.

Greetings to everyone. We thank you for your interest. We hope with all our hearts that you will join all others on this magnificent Moment our planets history. The true core of all midwinter observations is in reverence for the reversal of the gradual lengthening of nights and shortening of days. It has been held widely for thousands of years signifying rebirth. The full Moon, and its total eclipse on this longest night of the year is timed perfectly to give us all a quiet time when the world sleeps, and to synchronize countless people's efforts to harmonize with each other. Try as much as possible during the eclipse to surround yourself with and focus on the aspects of your experience that bring you your deepest feelings of love and joy. Your family, your people, The Earth, Love for all others, love for this. This is a unique opportunity to sow the seeds of change in our minds. You can make this eclipse a memorable experience, share this with your Family and Friends, especially the young ones. This could help teach future generations how to achieve unity globally. We wish you the most Peace and Happyness in life and hope to feel your presence during the shadow of the eclipse. Thank You all. Music : "Replicant" by Sync 24.

...skyview of the Lunar eclipse occuring on June 26th 2010: 8:30 several cuts were required for me to keep up with the moon as its quite a large area that the full eclipse took across the sky. I ran outta battery, but was able to get about 45 mins of the eclipse on film, here squished into 3:19 sec in timelapse X9

The theme for this meditation is the phoenix rising from the ashes. New beginnings. I chose to feature pictures of the local wildflowers blooming in the sand and growth that survived someone's carelessness with fire. Most of the pictures were taken in Kanab, Utah. A few were taken at the Gateway Peace Garden in Mount Shasta, California. A few feature the creation codes which hold the pattern for life on Earth. We end with the rainbow as the symbol of the creator's promise of future blessings.

Images of Partial Lunar Eclipse: 26 June 2010 Partial Lunar Eclipse 26 June 2010, was visible mostly in Western US, Western Canada and Latin America apart from Brazil, b4 Moon Set. Australia, China and the Far East of Asia after Moon Rise Unfortunately its not visible from much of Northern Hemisphere and Africa A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes behind the earth such that the earth blocks the sun's rays from striking the moon. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth and Moon are aligned exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle. Hence, there is always a full moon the night of a lunar eclipse. The type and length of an eclipse depend upon the Moon's location relative to its orbital nodes. The next total lunar eclipse will occur on December 21, 2010. Unlike a solar eclipse, which can only be viewed from a certain relatively small area of the world, a lunar eclipse may be viewed from anywhere on the night side of the Earth. A lunar eclipse lasts for a few hours, whereas a total solar eclipse lasts for only a few minutes at any given place. Some lunar eclipses have been associated with important historical events. The shadow of the Earth can be divided into two distinctive parts: the umbra and penumbra. Within the umbra, there is no direct solar radiation. However, as a result of the Sun's large angular size, solar illumination is only partially blocked in the outer portion of the Earth's shadow, which is given the name penumbra. A partial lunar ...
Time-lapse sequence of the partial lunar eclipse of 26 June 2010. From southern California we did not see the entire event as the moon set shortly after the point of maximum eclipse. If you watch carefully, you can see the sky brighten, and the moon flatten and redden due to atmospheric refraction near moonset. Some stills of the eclipse as well as camera and other info can be found at: www.astrocamera.net
Footage I got of the Lunar Eclipse last night (Saturday, 26th June 2010). There's a fair bit of shaking due to the camera being zoomed in so much that just standing next to it would vibrate the camera. It's pretty cool :) In other news, waffle!

Lunar Eclipse In Singapore On 26 June 2010 at around 8.37pm! Taken around Ang Mo Kio. You can see the moon less than half eaten, cos by 9.30pm I saw, the moon is full again. First time experiencing it! Comments welcome. Sorry for the poor video quality. 8.1mp wasn't enough to even take a decent picture. And I was too excited. PART II IS UP TOO.
Sorry, but the moon does orbit so if your wondering why the camera is always moving its just to keep up with the moon. (DAMIT MOON WHY CANT YOU JUST STAY STILL)... enjoy =]
It was very foggy in the Bay Area this morning.Luckily, there was some opening. Sorry for the quality of the video.Camera doesn't work very well at night, especially on a windy(15-20mph) and a foggy one,ya know ;)
The earth's shadow took a bite out of the full moon, as the sun, the earth and the moon all lined up for a partial Lunar Eclipse. Though difficult to film without a telephoto lens, this event was clearly visible with the naked eye. A beautiful light show in the winter night sky.

In this video view from Sun and Moon are provided. On 26th June 2010 Partial Lunar Eclipse would occur. People in North Eastern states of the country can see (Umbral phase) ending of Eclipse when the small part (on upper side) of Moon's Disk is immersed in earth's dark shadow and slowly leaving. Importantly rest of the India would experience the eclipse with moon in light tinge of earth's lighter shadow (during penumbral phase). This Eclipse is the last in the year 2010 for India.
On 26th June, 2010 Partial Lunar Eclipse will occur. Though its visible in umbral phase in north eastern states. Its Visible only during end of the eclipse from rest of the country. Why Eclipse is visible in Penumbral Phase for rest of India and Umbral Phase for few states In North East? Moon leaves noticeable umbra (actual darkening) at 6.30 pm. Compared to major part of the country during this part of the year in the north eastern states, the sunset occurs as early as by around 6.10 pm (6.54 pm in Hyd& Moon Rises around 6.10 pm (6.55 pm. In Hyd). Many states Sunset or Moon rise occurs late. Hence ending of the eclipse is visible from the north-eastern parts of India (Aizwal, Dimpur, Kohima, Nowgong etc..) when the moon is rising near horizon.Whereas rest of the country, by the time it's Sunset,Moon leaves umbra and enters penumbra by 7.51 pmMoredetails www.ournewplanets.com
