Before continuing, the sound designer of this trailer, Glenn (Caruu, placed in the credits by accident) had received devastating news on the last day I had finished the visual work. His uncle Kenneth Goa past away on January 9th 2009. Let us acknowledge that. His memorial is spotted at the end of the credits. Set in the 1940's, the story takes place in the shores of England (Wales as reference) a few years after World War II. It's about kids who want to be heroes; It's about a man who is trying to escape his violent past; It's about a being who fought against his own brothers; It's about sisters who had lost each other. The story was inspired by the events of World War II ,and the idea was inspired by a children's short story I read ages ago, as well as various of other movies: Atonement (2007), The Most Dangerous Game (1932) , Lady in the Water (2005-2006) I made this pitch to not only express my ideas, but to express my love on films ,and my love for 2D animation as well. It then fell mainly to the American forces to island-hop, chasing the Japanese back to their own territory. Thursday, 5/1 Mexico was no stranger to this world conflict; the axis powers sank several of our oil tankers such as Faja de Oro, Potrero de Llano, Tuxpan, Las Choapas, Oaxaca and Amatlán. Mexico's message, then and now, was that if we are attacked we will respond and defend ourselves. Thus, on May 1, 1945, our glorious 201st Squadron of the Mexican Air Force, better known as the Aztec Eagles, disembarked in Manila, in the Philippines, to fight with the Allied Forces on the Pacific Front. Members of the 201st Squadron served bravely in the liberation of the Philippine island of Luzón. This heroic Squadron engaged in 59 war missions, registering nearly two thousand flight hours in combat zones. Its last mission, undertaken on August 26, 1945, at the end of the Second World War as a result of the unconditional surrender of the Axis Powers, reflected the responsibility and participation of Mexico in these events. Today we honor the heroes that belonged to it and the memory of those that lost their lives on this delicate mission. The Egyptian victory at October war 1973 is one of the most important events in the Egyptian modern history. Despite the israeli claims that they won that war , their Zionist false media propaganda will never change the fact that they were defeated in that war (Yom Kippur DEFEAT) , the brave Egyptian soldiers destroyed Bar-Lev line which was the most powerful fortification in the world in only 6 hours , the Egyptian army destroyed what was named as "invincible army" , Egypt fought , won , got back Sinai without leaving an inch for Israel and forced the israelis to accept peace which they refused before that war. Greetings to the brave Egyptian and Syrian soldiers who lost their lifes to achieve the great victory at October war and to purify Sinai peninsula and Golan heights from the dirty Israeli occupation with their blood.

Baron Manfred von Richthofen (Schweighöfer) is the most feared and celebrated pilot of the German air force in World War I. To him and his companions, air combats are events of sporty nature, technical challenge and honorable acting, ignoring the terrible extent of war. But after falling in love with the nurse Käte (Headey), Manfred realizes he is only used for propaganda means. Caught between his disgust for the war, and the responsibility for his fighter wing, von Richthofen sets out to fly again.
I produced this video as a tribute to Rosie the Riveters and all those who helped out on the homefront during World War II. It provides a little history about the events of that time and how women were affected. Included in the video are audio clips of the lovable Fibber McGee and Molly, the voice of Sammy Kaye at the closing of one his music broadcasts (which was played on the radio just prior to the NBC announcement about the Pearl Harbor bombing) and the beginning of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's "Day of Infamy Speech." The video clips I used were taken from several Public Domain films made during the 1940s. Some of these clips include actual footage of the Pearl Harbor bombing on December 7, 1941.

"Space Race" is a BBC docu-drama series between September/October 2005, chronicling the major events and characters in the American/Soviet space race. It focusses on Sergei Korolev, the Soviets' chief rocket designer, and Wernher von Braun, his American counterpart. September 8, 1944. Launch V-2 From German-occupied Belgium. The V-2 ballistic missile was the world's first operational liquid fuel rocket. It represented an enormous quantum leap in technology, financed by Nazi Germany in a huge development program that cost at least $ 2 billion in 1944 dollars. 6084 V-2 missiles were built, 95% of them by 20000 slave labourer in the last seven months of World War II at a unit price of $ 17877. As many as 3225 were launched in combat, primarily against Antwerp and London, and a further 1000 to 1750 were fired in tests and training. Despite the scale of this effort, the inaccurate missile did not change the course of the war and proved to be an enormous waste of resources. The British, Americans, and Russians launched a further 86 captured German V-2's in 1945-1952. Personnel and technology from the V-2 program formed the starting point for post-war rocketry development in America, Russia, and France.s
This episode sees a visit to the very controversial Yasukuni Shrine, a shrine of memorial to those who have died fighting for Japan. It has gained much controversy over the portrayal of the history of events surrounding World War II, as well as former Prime Minister Koizumi making official visits to the shrine, as well as the fact that war criminals are also honored here at the shrine. While many won't agree with the view points of the shrine, it's still a worthwhile visit if not just to get another perspective on history, and to see how far patriotism in one's country will lead people, such as the kamikaze fighters. All in all, I thought it was a thought provoking place, but I can certainly see why other countries and even Japanese citizens get upset over the shrine.
