Art is performing at the "World's Biggest Bratfest" in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a charity event started by the owners of Metcalf's grocery store. The Third Annual Asian American Voices event at UW-Madison titled "Reclaiming Our Past: The Untold Stories of Asian America: A Three-Day Series of Arts, Academic Scholarship and Commemoration" featured a performance arts showcase on day 1, April 30, 2009, held at the Memorial Union's Tripp Commons Room. "Go Back to Where you Came From: The Show" reflected its meaning through spoken word pieces performed by UW students , most of whom were Asian American. There was also an exhibit of art work by some UW students in relation to this topic. The show highlighted the issues of internment, civil liberties, identity and renegotiated concepts of home and belonging.

The Gracias Choir sings songs of thankfulness for the love it has received in its heart. The Choir's music has the power to change sadness to joy, deeply moving the hearts of all listeners. The Gracias Choir was formed in the year 2000, and each year it is changing and reaching new heights through new challenges and developments. Curently, through their work at Mahanaim in New York and the Gracias Music School in South Korea, they are broadening the scope of their activities to a worldwide scale.

Me (Amy Vue) singing in Hmong at the Chazen Art Museum in Madison for family day event. They had a wonderful exhibit called: Writing with Thread: Traditional Textiles of Southwest Chinese Minorities which featured a wide selection of clothes and jewelry that the Miao & other hill tribes wore. The song is titled "tsis muaj koj" written by my dad for my hmong album. The recording is not the best and the sound is a little muffled... but enjoy!
