Sanford was right. This is quite a "world wind" (one of the unintentionally hilarious typos from Sanford's sexy emails). The British newspaper The Sun is reporting that the heart attack which killed Jackson was caused by an overdose of the pain killer Demerol. The Sun also reported that he was suffering from skin cancer, which would most likely be the reason for the need for such a powerful narcotic to deal with the pain of such a disease. Michael Jackson was and always will be the king of pop, and we will be sorely missed. A few days before Michael Jackson died, the world also lost an American beauty icon: Farrah Fawcett. She passed away this week at 62 years old. She lost her battle with anal cancer, even after seeking alternative treatment over seas. Among her many appearances in print was her infamous Playboy shoots, and her Playboy video, All Of Me. She became the classic model of American beauty with her long golden locks, which some say brought on a long lasting trend throughout the 70s. James Carville says that it would be "ludicrous" for Mark Sanford to resign as Governor of South Carolina, and points out that "a telling thing about the Republican party" was that, upon Sanford stepping down as head of the RGA, that one "old, white guy" replaced another in that position.
