Martin Hewitt (born February 19, 1958 in San Jose, California) is an American actor. He is best known for his film debut as David Axelrod during Franco Zeffirelli's Endless Love (1981), and his role as Chad Douglas Fairchild in Zalman King's Two Moon Junction (1988).
As of 2000, he was living in Los Osos, California and running his own business,, but has appeared in television shows as recently as 2003.
Yellowbeard is a 1983 comedy film, that was co-written and acted by Monty Python member Graham Chapman and David Sherlock, and directed by Mel Damski. The pirate Yellowbeard (Chapman), having been incarcerated for 20 years for tax evasion despite his years of terrorising the high seas ("Often forcing his victims to eat their own lips..."), manages to survive the whole of his jail sentence but has not disclosed the whereabouts of his vast treasure. The Royal Navy then hatches a plot to increase his sentence by a good 140 years, knowing that he'll escape in a rage to set out for his treasure. Jade Butterfield and David Axelrod, both teenagers, fall in love. Their love becomes dangerously obsessive, especially for David.
