I know them as the Best Social Media Management Tools. Yes, I finally decided to speak out against them on account of their blatant and undeserved whoring on the Mashables Awards this year. It appears they wanna try to win just about anything there is to win... even if it means degrading themselves even further to do so. Even as a joke, it's in rather poor taste to stuff the ballot box the way they're doing. Why care? Well... why not? Longtime fans won't realize how much their old comedians of the 2007's and 08's have gone downhill unless they take a step back and see for themselves. At the very least stop fangasming over every last cruddy video on their site, folks. Just because they have indeed made good videos in the past, does not mean they ALWAYS will. As for the voting... vote for their main rivals in every category, and nominate them for Best Social Media Tools, to show them you really care about their commitment to being tools.
