Mechcommander 2 Soundtrack --HOUSE STEINER THEME-- Soundtrack from Mechcommander 2 by Battletech. Played during the mission briefings of House Steiner on Carver V, there led by Colonel David Renard. My personal opinion: Kinda Steiner fitting, good to listen when playing them, really. **Stay tuned for more soundtracks of the same, and different games aswell!**
This is the opening cinematic for Mech Commander 2, one of my favorite games. Its absolutely not the first sci-fi story to use the news report idea to bring viewers up to speed, but I think this game does it particularly well, and the quality of the acting is very, very good. They all make very believable reporters and pundits; they have the speech patters down pat. (Also: I know its not really him, but am I the only one who thinks that the second guy from the right during the final "Think Tank" panel looks and sounds just like Lewis Black??)
