At 15 years old I was like any other teenager in Russia. I got up early to take the subway to school. I zipped through War and Peace and Crime and Punishment as if they were Harry Potter. Hi guys, It's been almost a month since Michael Jackson passed away, and, like so many, I'm still in shock. I can't express how thankful I am for his life, and for the wonderful gifts of love and music that he left us. His memory will forever live in our hearts. I wanted to try and express some of what I felt in a cover of his song 'Human Nature', after seeing John Mayer perform a wonderful instrumental rendition of it at Michael's memorial service. It's different to John's version, as I tried to put my own little twist on the song. Like so many of Michael's songs, this is one of those heart-wrenchingly beautiful melodies that he sang with inimitable feeling, and unrivaled musicality. I could go on, and on, but I'll end there, and thank you so much, in advance, for viewing this. Cnn didn't confirm it just yet and I was hoping that they never would but the news finally came in that Yes Michael passed away. I was so sad and immediately started crying. We lost an amazing soul and though I couldn't stop crying and he and his family were on my mind for days, I made a decision to Celebrate his life and who he was as a person. After he collapsed, Jackson's personal physician, with him at the time, attempted to resuscitate him. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a 911 call at 12 pm arriving nine minutes later. Jackson was reportedly not breathing and CPR was performed. Resuscitation efforts continued both en route to the UCLA Medical Center, and after arrival at approximately 1:14 pm, for a further hour. Jackson fell into a coma and died shortly after arrival. The cause of death is currently unknown, but he was noted to have already been in cardiac arrest by the paramedics who attended his house. Jackson was pronounced dead at about 2:26 pm local time.

Reports indicate that the 50-year-old moonwalking former child star was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his home. At first I didn't believe it. I was in the yogurt place and some lady comes in and says she heard Michael Jackson passed away. They had Cablevision News 12 on the TV and they weren't mentioning anything (big suprise there...News 12 doesnt cover breaking news, which is why I dont miss them since I switched to Fios). Anyway later I put on the radio and it confirmed the tragic news. Michael Jackson passed away at only 50 due to a heart attack. Having grown up in the 80s and listened to alot of Michael Jackson's music, the loss is quite sad. Michael Jackson was one of the few pop stars who made a career out of helping people. Why is it that good people die young? Anyway, alot of radio stations are playing Michael Jackson's music. It's sad it took his death to hear Michael Jackson on the radio again. Some of my favorite songs of his are Human Nature, PYT, Heal the World, Man in the Mirror, and too many others to list here.
