It's a sign of the times.... a politician is not what he appears to be, like Mitch Landrieu.

Mitch Landrieu, a Mayor who will create the jobs of the future and get our economy back on track.
We have a chance to rebuild this city, to improve our schools, create jobs and make our streets safe.
A WWL TV poll clearly shows Mitch Landrieu ahead and with all probability will be the next Mayor of New Orleans. If Landrieu remains focused, continues to be positive and talk about his plan, he will easily be the next Mayor of the City of New Orleans. However, he must continue to respond to false television ads in a positive way, which has done. He is the only candidate that has highlighted problems and gives a solution to fix the problem. One example is after school programs as a solution to keeping children off the street. Not only will this keep children off the street, it will help with eduction and crime. His television ads have clearly demonstrated he actually has a plan for the City of New Orleans. So far he has run a good campaign.
Say what you will, but this surprise speaker at the 2010 New Orleans mayoral debate at NOCCA (January 15) came off as the most sincere and passionate of the night's participants.
For every mother in New Orleans, we have to stop the violence. Mitch's plan for a safe city: invest in after-school programs and playgrounds to keep kids off the streets. Community police to patrol our neighborhoods. And a tough, honest police chief to lead them.
