Krishna is Bollywood's second attempt at animation after Hanuman [third technically, if you take Bhaggmati - The Queen Of Fortunes, which was part live, part animation]. What makes animation films tick are two factors: The animation should be of high quality and of course, the content. While the content of Krishna is interesting, it's not backed by high quality animation. The animation here is average, not at par with Hanuman. Also, while several unknown facts of Hanuman were unraveled in Hanuman, that's not the case in Krishna. Some aspects in the story should've been a revelation. Krishna tells the story of Lord Krishna's birth, his childhood in Vrindavan and his slaying of Kansa, the evil ruler. The film features various adventures of his childhood, including his clashes with demons, and many more. This animated feature also brings to life Lord Krishna's naughty aspects like stealing butter and playing the flute and attracting the gopis. Lord Krishna's story has inspired generations. In this animation movie, a number of sequences are deftly handled, especially in the second hour. The music is also tuneful and the simple wordings are easy to grasp. However, the background score could've been more effective. The voiceovers are in sync. On the whole, Krishna is an average animation film that should've been released during the vacations, not during the examination period.

Bharathiraaja has always excelled in making village-based stories packed with pathos and heavy dose of sentiments that have worked well with the audience for quite some time. After Taj Mahal, his son Manoj is once again the hero in this film which is produced and directed by the veteran director himself. Newcomer Nandita is the heroine and Suhasini plays the central character of Manoj's mother. The story is set in a village, Suhasini had lost her husband who dies for the country. She sends both her sons to the army, and they die in the Kargil war. The third son Manoj who looks after the farm is her only solace, but she decides to send him also for serving the country. Manoj is in love with Nandita who is a schoolteacher. The film is all about soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our nation and their widows. Grand Theft Auto 3 review. Classic Game Room reviews GRAND THEFT AUTO III 10 Year Anniversary edition for the iPad from Rockstar (also available for Android tablets), a mobile version of 2001's awesome GTA III, the installment that changed video games forever. I originally played through this game on PlayStation 2 way back when and love the GTA style action and mayhem, but how about these new mobile controls? While the touch screen "thumbstick" is far from perfect, the GTA3 controls on iPad feel a lot like a keyboard with a sticky d-pad. Graphics, gameplay and sound remain surprisingly consistent with the PS2 original (if there's serious changes I don't remember them). Driving with iPad controls works quite well but this game could really use a BlueTooth PS2 style controller for iPad. Director Paul Verhoeven (Showgirls, Total Recall) reunited many from his 1987 Robocop team for this $100-million science fiction adventure, adapted from Robert A.
