The first queen regnant of England, Queen Mary I of the Tudor dynasty, eldest child of King Henry VIII and Queen Catherine of Aragon. Protestant elites tried to replace her with Jane Grey when her brother died but the English people wouldn't have it and they rose up to make Mary Queen. She came to the throne surrounded by enemies and early on had to deal with a full-scale rebellion. She dealt with them all calmly and fiercely. A devout Catholic she revived the heresy laws and had close to 300 heretics (Protestants) burned at the stake. This earned her the lasting nickname "Bloody Mary".
Queen Mary's attempts to restore Catholicism and her marriage to Philip of Spain (July 25, 1554) were unpopular. Mary supported harsher and harsher persecution of the Protestants, eventually burning more than 300 at the stake as heretics over a four year period, earning her the nickname, "Bloody Mary." She died in 1558, Mary named no heir, so Elizabeth (Mary's half-sister, daughter of Ann Boleyn) became Queen, named by Henry VIII (Mary and Elizabeth's father) as next in succession after Mary. Alex has been getting weird signs lately, like cloud shapes, tree shapes, the stalked feeling, strange noises, ghost sightings, etc. He thought it was just the movies he was watching "Nightmare on Elm Street and all of its sequels", but then he found out it all leaded up to Friday the 13th... possibly, the date of his death!!! Who will kill him? It all lead up to Bloody Mary, why? Because three days before today, Alex shouted Bloody Mary millions of times, insulting her. Then suddenly the kitchen light flickered and blew out. Thats when Alex started to be a kiss ass to Bloody Mary by shouting compliments and offers to her. Three friends investigate the ghost known as Bloody Mary. *Just for further clarification for those who doubt this video: It IS real. It truly happened. In December of 2005, these 3 went into Waterton Woods as a dare to look for the ghost locally known as the Bloody Mary ghost. No it is not the same as the traditional Bloody Mary. These guys were big practical jokers, so when it was finally realized that they had really disappeared, search parties were started and our small town kinda went into a panic. After all the hours of searching, only their camera was found. For the reason that these guys were pranksters, the media didnt give the story any attention except for locally; the reason being there were more important things in the news than a similarity to the Blair Witch Project. Since I was best friends with all these guys, their parents willingly gave me the camera. I came across the tape one day and it upset me. I put this video together out of respect and memory for them.
