A group of Binghamton University students watched horror unfold in their homeland. More than 350 students are from India. A few spoke to Action News Reporter Julianne Sweeney about the Mumbai terrorist attacks and how they hope to help from here. As pictures of the terrorist attacks in Mumbai poured in online. Kaustubh Gothey and his friends watched the scene unfold on a laptop. They're from India, but are currently graduate students at Binghamton University. "I really wasn't able to concentrate much on my studies. It is really disturbing." says Gothey. Gothey moved to the United States last year to study industrial engineering. These men say despite the horror of the attacks, they're not surprised they happened. "There are lots of incidents going on in India. Terrorism is very common." says Pratik Tanna, a Binghamton University Graduate Student. But this was not a small incident. And it happened in a large city. Mumbai is home to colleges, office buildings and hotels. Normally the downtown area is flooded with people. "No one was feeling safe to go out the next day." says Nitish Tyagi, a Binghamton University Graduate Student. The men have spoken to their family and friends. Everyone they know is safe. Still, they're anxious to go home to see the situation. Later this month, they're going back to India for winter break. "I won't be scared, and I will go there and stay. Because if you're scared, then the terrorists have been successful in their attacks." says Vishal Belawade, a Binghamton University Graduate Student. "I think the Mumbai people are strong, and they'll definitely try to curb the terrorism." says Gothey. Gothey and his friends are hoping the Indian government steps in.

As a judge of Aegis Entrepreneur Challenge there are six questions that I want an answer when I look at a business plan 1. How do u plan to make your many? How much of it are you going to make? 2. How much money do I have to put in as an investor for you to bring your idea to realisation. For obivous reasons, as a venture capitalist if I have to invest 10 rupees in your plan I expect to make atleast 5 times in next 1 to 2 years. 3. Why is your company or idea is unique and why shoud I invest in it? 4. What does your competition look like? Who are the people having an idea similar to that of yours? 5. How can your idea beat that of your competitors? What makes your concept different from your competitiors currently have? 6. What are your plans to bulid a team fro bringing your idea to realisation? Apart for these questions what I am looking for is "Passion". You must have a passion for your idea and if that is not seen from your business plans or presentations that your are making, it is likely that it wouldn't be funded.
