This is my 1965 Mustang Fastback I rescued from a field rusting away. I finished it around July of 2008 in my back yard garage with no professional assistance at all. I purchased all body panels from National Parts Depot in Canton Michigan. I used paint and material from NAPA, CarQuest and AutoZone. It took me about 26 months to complete. It has a 302 Ford motor and an AOD transmission. I restored this car to the information on the original data plate on the door that included the body color and interior. The stripe is unique in that I added a darker red to the Poppy Red body color to get a stripe that is a little darker but blends in with the factory color. This car features four wheel disc brakes made from all Ford parts.

Google Tech Talk December 15, 2009 ABSTRACT Presented by Dr. John Hunter, President of Quicklaunch, Inc. Quicklaunch is dedicated to launching rocket propellant and other consumables into orbit using a hydrogen gas gun. Quicklaunchers are related to the SHARP launcher, originally at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. More than 90% of the mass required for manned Mars and Lunar exploration is propellant. The Quicklaunch breakthrough will result in costs less than $250/lb to propellant depots in Low Earth Orbit. These low costs will enable manned space exploration of the solar system in our lifetime. Johns talk will include the history of gun launch to space, from the popularizers to the practitioners. A brief physics overview will be given on hydrogen gas guns as well as electric guns. An animation will portray a Quicklauncher delivering propellant to a depot in Low Earth Orbit. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.

On May 5 and 6, 2009, in Mountain View, we brought together Googlers and leaders from academia and the corporate world for a 2-day summit to discuss the state of the global Internet. The goal of the summit was to collect a wide range of knowledge to inform Google's future plans--from product development and market reach to users' expectations and our ability to keep the Internet open yet secure. More than 30 speakers and moderators led discussions around 8 topics: Networks; Wireless and Sensor Technologies; Security; Standards; Applications; Democracy, Law, Policy and Regulation; Search and Cloud Computing; and The Future. Eric Schmidt, who offered some remarks, expressed optimism that the challenges we face with governments' walling off access to the Internet can be overcome technologically by building networks that are transparent, scalable, and open.

It took us 2 years to completely restore it. the motor is a 350 bored .40 over and 800cfm Edelbrock Carburetor on an Edelbrock Performer intake. the body came from National Parts Depot. the brand new bumpers were purchased from Matt's Classic Bowties. the wheels are Chevrolet Rally Wheels, 15x6 in front and 15x8 in the back. we put dual flowmasters with 3 inch pipes after this video. the interior has been redone with a bench seat in the front (put in after the video). it was built by Rick Dunivan and his sons, Ricky and Dan Dunivan

This locomotive was bulit in PAFAWAG (PA-ństwowa FA-bryka WAG-onów - National Wagon (Car) Factory; Wrocław) in 1956, using the same electric parts as in locomotives EP01 [1936-1964]. She retired i 1973 in Dębica depot. Until 1992 she was used as a heater at the Zakopane Station. Now she's in Chabówka Museum and waits for rebiulding... I hope that the under-carriage construction defect will not be a big problem... San Diego Trolley Cab Ride DVD is a sit-next-to-the-operator view on an Excursion with the San Diego Electric Railway Association done in August, 2007. In an unusual consist, the excursion used Siemens Duewag U2 vehicles which are typically seen on the line to San Ysidro and are the oldest in the fleet. This video takes you from the terminus in Santee all the way back to the MTS yard in downtown San Diego. Along the way, you get an express ride along parts of the Green, Orange, and Blue Lines covering El Cajon, La Mesa, and San Diego and pass SD100 cars and some of the newest trains - the Siemens S70.
