The Sci Fi Channel brings back classic science fiction heroes to its schedule and ironically portrays their superpowers or unique traits. The Invisible Man takes a shower, goes to the bathroom, watches TV sitting on his favorite couch at home. Although he is invisible, he is definitely a man.

i was listening to a song from the CD "Orchestral Game Concert 5". and figured, this particular piece would go very well with a movie edition of NBC Universal. this is probably IMO one of my best animations to date so far.

History Of Television Network Branding-In Living Colour When American Television Turned to colour, These idents are what viewers saw before or after every colour programme. NBC was the first because it employed the RCA system for transmitting colour which was selected by the NTSC and adopted by the US FCC as the American Transmission Standard. (Radio Corporation of America ((now Thomson CSF)) was the parent of NBC). CBS which had competed with it's own colour system (sequential, colorwheel) developed by the CBS Laborotories in Stamford CT by Dr. Peter Goldmark was second and ABC which had no organically developed system was 3rd to adopt. NET the predecessor to PBS was largely rolled out in color in the late 1960's and PBS since 1971 has always been a color caster. Here's the second installment of our interview with Brian Buchwald of NBC Universal. Brian runs nbbc, the new Internet content/advertising distribution platform which has launched in beta. Video consumption has been migrating from the TV to the computer in a big way -- and this has had a huge impact on network television -- as evidenced by the news coming out of NBC Universal this week. But, change has to come for the networks. We think NBC is taking a clever approach. Unlike the other networks TV Internet strategies, which largely involve distribution of network and specially produced "broadband" programming on various portals, NBC has taken a very ambitious approach by opening up its network to many content developers (even vloggers!), inserting advertising and placing that content on a vast new network of Web sites. See this video on Beet.TV: www.beet.tv
So my friend Emily calls me up (she works for NBC/Universal TV Music Services) and she's all "You like Ben Kweller, right?" And from that, I made a new friend named Ben, got to hang out and take this footage. And for all those Ben Kweller fans out there that feel like you know him because of his music, you do. He's exactly the person you'd expect him to be by listening to what he writes. He's aces, for sure.
The first of 3 logos from MTE Television. This logo is the so-called "Nightmare Globe Of Death", because of its music, which is an overworked version of the classic Revue Television jingle, and the animation with the globe, which is more geographically correct compared with the classic Universal and MCA globes, zooming up too close too fast. This logo has the MCA byline with MCA in its corporate font. MTE was shut down probably shut down in 1995. And the Music Corporation Of America, as MCA was more formally called, was itself dissolved in 1997, into Universal's television division which was renamed NBC Universal in 2004
This is the television distribution logo, found in their syndicated programming. This is NOT to be confused with Universal Media Studios, the tv production wing of the NBC Universal Television Group.
