click videoliners.com to watch Biggest Loser season 10 week 10 recap: Makeover week! for free Biggest Loser season 10 week 10 and it's makeover week! Everyone's excited, especially Brendan, who wants to look "wicked haaaaht." Celebrity stylist Ken Paves met up with the contestants who transformed the contestants into superstars. (Boy, the transformations breezed by a lot faster than they used to.) Then it was off to the People magazine photo shoot and the Ford Warriors in Pink fashion show. Before the contestants strutted their stuff, Alison introduced Shanna, a breast cancer patient who tried out for the show and was featured in the first episode of season 10. Her cancer is in remission, her hair's growing out and she has lost weight. On to the fashion show: Elizabeth looked cute and sporty but the pink train was a bit ridic. Lisa was happy and assured but it looked like her shoes were killing her. Quote of the week, from Lisa's son: "Mommy, mommy! You're skinny!" Patrick was all cleaned up and looked like a teenager and his kids were absolutely adorable. Mark had kind of a Michael Ventrella vibe going on with the leather jacket-hoodie combo. His mom's remark "Ezeh chatich atah (you look so handsome)" is Hebrew, by the way. Brendan actually did look pretty fly. Ada, who admitted to being a "girlie girl" last week, rocked the sassy leopard hat and pumps. Frado came out looking like the Weight Loss Terminator but I thought his gray hair didn't need to be dyed. But his wife ...
click videoliners.com to see Video "The Biggest Loser" tidbits: Strike news and Makeover Week details Taking my cue from Gail Gedan Spencer over at the Examiner, I think this is going to be the last I write about the strike at "The Biggest Loser" ranch until the thing is resolved. There's just not much else to say, except...What a shame. I hope this ends soon. Gail alerted me to this story in The Hollywood Reporter, which says that 100 picketers lined up outside the ranch entrance early Monday morning and greeted arriving replacement workers by yelling "Scab!" and "Turn around!" But that was as far as the nastiness went. THR reports: "In a few cases, picketers slapped the vehicles, but THR observed no injuries or apparent property damage. The picketing was orderly, and the vehicles were permitted to enter." So, apparently, we are up and running again with the production of Season 11. Hopefully, I'll be able to report the end of this whole strike mess in the near future.
click videoliners.com to watch video NBC Show -- The Biggest Show for free As you know, the Biggest Loser crew members walked out last week, so here is an update. In a show of solidarity with crew members on strike, the host and two trainers on the NBC show "The Biggest Loser" are auctioning themselves off on EBay to raise money for strikers. Alison Sweeney, host of the NBC reality show, is auctioning off lunch dates with herself, and trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper are auctioning workout sessions. The auctions will go on for the next three days. The striking workers got a further boost when the LA County Federation of Labor, which represents more than 800000 workers in the county, threw its support behind the strike. "We intend to mobilize our vast membership and our resources to help bring a fair settlement to this dispute with 'The Biggest Loser,'" said Maria Elena Durazo, the leader of the LA County Federation of Labor. "The producers of this show want to make their own workers 'the biggest losers' and the labor movement in LA is not going to let that happen."
