The technology will allow communication with home appliances on how to conserve energy while not in use and direct energy to appliances when they need it most. (Wake Co.) INTRO: Electric cars are the latest rage in transportation...but will we have enough electricity to keep them running? Experts say the answer is to develop a power grid that can communicate with plug-in cars and manage the system to avoid overloads.
