Kianoosh lost his life in the post-election events and was buried in his hometown of Kermanshah in Iran. Kianoosh disappeared on 15 June 2009 in the gathering of post-election protesters and 10 days later his family identified Kianoosh´s remains at the coroner's office. Eyewitnesses informed the family that Kianoosh was injured in the gathering by a shot to his side. However, at the coroners office there was evidence of another shot in the neck. The time and perpetrator of this second shot remains unclear. The doctor who tried to save an Iranian protester as she bled to death on a street in Tehran has told the BBC of her final moments. Dr Arash Hejazi, who is studying at a university in the south of England, said he ran to Neda Agha-Soltan's aid after seeing she had been shot in the chest. Despite his attempts to stop the bleeding she died in less than a minute, he said. Video of Ms Soltan's death was posted on the internet and images of her have become a rallying point for Iranian opposition supporters around the world. Dr Hejazi also told how passers-by then seized an armed Basij militia volunteer who appeared to admit shooting Ms Soltan. Dr Hejazi said he had not slept for three nights following the incident, but he wanted to speak out so that her death was not in vain. He doubted that he would be able to return to Iran after talking openly about Ms Soltan's killing. (from a BBC article)

Neda The Divine Calling 'Angel of Freedom' Neda Agha Soltan; She is a Symbol, a Meaning, a Movement. After killing of Neda Agah Soltan by the Iranian paramilitary group, I think the West will never look the same way again towards Iran. Now we will have to differentiate between the regime and the people of Iran in our foreign policy. Neda changed the stereotype way the West look to women in the Middle East societies.
