This week Lord Baltimore teaches Rash a thing or two about the Doodletown Pipers. Also there the business of football picks which come hard and heavy, but pretty soon the two are dancing together like a couple of sugar plum fairies. Strange really. After 11 weeks, my record is 111-49. If you add in the thanksgiving day games (I went 2-1), my record is 113-50. Rest of the week 12 picks... Bucs at Falcons-Falcons Dolphins at Bills-Dolphins Browns at Bengals-Bengals Seahawks at Rams-Seahawks Panthers at Jets-Panthers Redskins at Eagles-Eagles Colts at Texans-Colts Chiefs at Chargers-Chargers Jags at 49ers-49ers Bears at Vikings-Vikings Cardinals at Titans-Cardinals Steelers at Ravens-Ravens Patriots at Saints-Patriots This is a vid cam direct upload
www.sbrforum.com - The NFLs 2009 Thanksgiving Day card doesnt feature the most attractive slate of teams, but the betting lines are interesting. SBR.tvs Peter Loshak and industry vet Al McMordie chatted on Wednesday, examining the games and looking for possible value. Detroit opens up the day as a 10.5-point home dog to Green Bay in a game where both teams are dealing with several key injuries. The betting action has been very light on this one so far, with neither the public nor the sharps eager to bite on either side. The Lions have gotten blown out in their Thanksgiving Day games in recent years, and this year their prospects are once again not looking too promising. Green Bay s surging offense put up 30 points last week against San Francisco s quality defense, while Detroit s low-rated D is coming off a week where they gave up 37 points to Cleveland, a team that had been held to under 10 points in 6 of their 9 other games this year. And the Lions look like they might be facing another big mismatch when they have the ball. Starting QB Matt Stafford is injured and likely out for this game, and top offensive threat WR Calvin Johnson is also hurting. The Packers D has been top-rated all year long and should still be good despite losing 2 key starters to injury last week. Still, double digits can be a lot for a road team to cover in a high-profile game on a short week. Game #2 also involves a double-digit spread, with Oakland getting 13.5 points going into Dallas . The ...

It's time once again for my 2009 NFL Week 12 picks and predictions. There are three games on Thanksgiving this year during week 12 of the 2009 NFL season. The schedule on tap for Turkey Day doesn't exactly seem interesting with three games that could

Interesting stat of the day in college football..... Stanford beat the 2 teams that destroyed Cal. Stanford beat Oregon 51-42 Stanford beat USC 55-21 Cal got destroyed by Oregon 42-3 Cal got destroyed by USC 30-3. So naturally, Stanford should beat Cal right? Nope. Cal goes to Stanford and beats them 34-28. Other college football news. Ohio St. beat Michigan for the sixth straight year. Ohio St. coach Jim Tressell is now 8-1 vs. the Wolverines. Notre Dame loses to a mediocre Uconn team at home, 33-30 in 2 OT The hits just keep on coming at Notre Dame, lol. NFL week 11 picks Last week, I went 9-6. Overall record after 10 weeks is 98-46. Dolphins at Panthers (I lost that game on Thursday) Redskins at Cowboys -Cowboys Browns at Lions- Lions 49ers at Packers-Packers Steelers at Chiefs-Steelers Falcons at Giants-Giants Saints at Bucs- Saints Bills at Jaguars-Jags Colts at Ravens-Colts Seahawks at Vikings-Vikings Cardinals at Rams-Cardinals Jets at Patriots-Patriots Bengals at Raiders-Bengals Chargers at Broncos-Chargers Eagles at Bears-Eagles Titans at Texans-Titans
www.sbrforum.com - Peter Loshak welcomes Big Al McMordie back to SBR.tv to preview Week 11 in the NFL. Loshak and McMordie discuss a selection of games, betting lines, and SBR poster opinions. Jets' coach Rex Ryan cried last week, and it's not clear if that will help or hurt the Jets' chances of covering a 10.5 point spread going into New England to face the Pats, who are off of their notorious loss to Indianapolis. Pats' coach Bill Belichick has a tremendous ATS record coming off of losses in recent years, but Al is hesitant to endorse a bet on the Pats just on that, and gives a number of reasons to stay away. Including the Pats in a 10-point teaser though has looked attractive to some, and 10-point teasers have gotten a lot of consideration in general this week with a number of favorites around 11 points. Loshak and Al discuss 10-point teasers a bit, and take note of SBR poster Sweatyguido's selection of Minnesota, Dallas and New England. Big Al ends by giving a pick on a total that has already moved in his favor, that he sees as still having value even at the new line. I'm 89-40 after 9 weeks NFL week 10 picks I already won the 49ers/Bears game from Thursday New Orleans Saints at Rams My pick: Saints Bucs at Dolphins My pick: Dolphins Lions at Vikings My pick: Vikings Jaguars at Jets My pick: Jets Bills at Titans My pick: Titans Bengals at Steelers My pick: Steelers Broncos at Redskins My pick: Broncos Falcons at Panthers My pick: Falcons Chiefs at Raiders My pick: Raiders Seahawks at Cardinals My pick: Cardinals Cowboys at Packers My pick: Cowboys Eagles at Chargers My pick: Chargers Patriots at Colts My pick: Colts Ravens at Browns My pick: Ravens Bye weeks: Giants and Texans By the way, the Broncos should be fine. Even though they lost 2 straight games and are now 6-2, I expect them to atleast go 11-5, which would mean they'll go 5-3 in the second half of the season.
www.sbrforum.com - In their Week 9 NFL preview on SBR.tv last week, SBR.tvs Peter Loshak and Big Al McMordie agreed on several strong leans, all of which turned out to be winners. In their Week 10 preview however, there is a lot more respectful lack of consensus. Cincinnati is 5-0 SU as a dog this year, and they go into Pittsburgh getting 7 points in one of the weeks marquee matchups. The Steelers though are always tough at home, and this year while they havent blown out the terrible teams they have faced, they have also easily handled the better teams they have faced recently. Big Al and Loshak discuss the betting lines in this intriguing handicapping scenario, and take a look at the other marquee game of the week as well, New England at Indianapolis. Dallas as a 3-point road fave at Green Bay has attracted attention from well-respected posters at SBRForum.com, and Loshak feels agreement with them. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is getting sacked a ton this year, while the Cowboys have been surging since their bye. McMordie, however, points out some reasons to support Green Bay as a home dog, and then gives a lean on the Monday night game. www.sbrforum.com - NFL Week 6 features interesting lines on some marquee showdowns between elite teams, as well as some less-than-marquee showdowns between ugly teams, all possibly providing good betting opportunities. SBR.tvs Peter Loshak looks into some of these games with input from LT Profits. The total on the Houston game opened at 45 and has crept up to 46, which Loshak and LT Profits still see as likely a tick or two too low. Both the Texans and Bengals have live passing games, capable of producing points in a hurry. With foul weather a possibility and sub-par football teams a certainty in Washington this Sunday, the game between the Chiefs and the Redskins may become a war of attrition. If it does, there may be value with KC getting 6.5 points, as Washington has struggled against all comers this year, beating 2 NFL bottom-feeders at home by only a total of 5 points. But LT Profits is holding his nose and leaning towards the Skins for a cover here, citing a possible letdown by the Chiefs after a demoralizing near-win last week against Dallas , as well as Washington s capable defense as key factors. LT Profits picked Seattle to win the NFC West, and likes them to cover as a 3-point home favorite against Arizona , despite suffering from extensive injuries on the offensive line. If the Seahawks makeshift offensive line can protect QB Matt Hasselbeck, Seattle could be in for a big day as the Cardinals rank last in the NFL in pass defense. LT further notes that Seattle ...

NFL.com Video Michael Vick was a super decoy. Getting significant contributions from their youngsters and backups, the Philadelphia Eagles routed the Kansas City Chiefs 34-14 in Vicks return to the NFL on Sunday. The Eagles didnt need much from Vick and they got nothing from Donovan McNabb(notes) or Brian Westbrook(notes), who both sat out with injuries. Kevin Kolb(notes) threw for 327 yards and two touchdowns, LeSean McCoy(notes) had 84 yards rushing and one TD, and DeSean Jackson(notes ...
NFL.com Video The 49ers forgot about the fifth item in Mike Singletary's formula for success: Finish. Allowing Brett Favre's winning touchdown pass with 2 seconds remaining spoiled an otherwise outstanding and potentially defining performance by the 49ers. The crushing nature of the defeat will test this team's resolve. But after watching the 49ers take the Vikings' best punch and deliver a few of their own, there can be little doubt about this team's ability to bounce back. Let there also ...
