In the summer (well, winter) of '69, Nicholas Courtney and a disturbingly beardless Brian Blessed played British criminals in the "Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)" episode "The Ghost Who Saved the Bank at Monte Carlo". The series starred Mike Pratt and Kenneth Cope as private detectives Jeff Randall and Marty Hopkirk. Marty is killed in the first episode and is forced to roam the Earth as a ghost (who only Jeff can see and hear). It was remade by the BBC in 2000 with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer. And Tom Baker.
