Nick Beggs

Nick Beggs (born Nicholas Beggs, 15 December 1961, in Winslow, Buckinghamshire, England) is a British musician. He has pursued his own musical career since Kaja (post Kajagoogoo) split up.<p>In the early 1990s, Beggs played bass for the Celtic rock band Iona. His primary instruments are bass (where he was seen with an Aria SB during Art Nouveau. A Wal ProE2, Kramer and a Musicman Stingray and Chapman Stick during and post Kajagoogoo.<p>His mother died when he was a young boy, and he was left to bring up his sister almost single handedly while his father paid the children little attention.[citation needed] He left school and immediately took up work as a dustman to provide an income for him and his sister, Jackie.
