Close to 2000 NIU friends, family and alumni watched the Huskies take on Bulls of the University of South Florida at the International Bowl on Jan. 2, 2010. The game marked the second straight season and the third time in four years that NIU Football would receive a bowl invitation.
Huskie football vistis the Hockey Hall of Fame on January 31, 2009. Former NIU head coach Joe Novak and ex-Huskie players Donnavan Carter, Patrick Stephen, Garett Sutherland, and Orlando Bowen address team at practice. NIU takes on South Florda in the International Bowl on January 2.
