CJ competed in the NJ 101.5 Big Joe Jersey Talent Show at Jenkinson's Beach in Point Pleasant. Contestants are sent through to the next round based on audience applause compared to the other contestants. CJ made it through to the semi-finals that will be held on August 23rd.

During the late hours of February 9 and into the early morning hours of February 10 the Old Bridge New Jersey Police Department were involved in the investigation of a missing individual. New Jersey 101.5 producer "Spanky" was informed of the situation by the Old Bridge Police Department and throughout the broadcast host Tommy G put out the description of the missing man. By 3:30 am the missing man was found by a New Jersey Transit Driver Martin Heraghtry. On March 9 the Old Bridge Mayor, Town Council and Police commend Tommy G, Spanky and Martin Heraghty for saving the missing person.
