Oded Fehr (Hebrew: עודד פר) (born 23 November, 1970) is an Israeli film and television actor. He is known for his appearance as Ardeth Bey in the 1999 remake of The Mummy and its sequel, The Mummy Returns.<p>Fehr was born in Tel Aviv to a German-born physicist father and an Israeli Jewish daycare supervisor mother. He has an older brother, a sister, and a younger half-sister. He was trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in England after taking a very brief drama class in Frankfurt, Germany. He served in the Israeli Navy from 1989 to 1992 and used to work for security for El Al (Israel's airline) in Germany.<p>Fehr's screen appearances include the 2001-02 NBC series UC: Undercover, the 2002-03 CBS series Presidio Med, and the 2004 movie release Resident Evil: Apocalypse (he will reprise the role in the upcoming sequel, Resident Evil: Extinction).
