I'm uploading this video as proof that Ohio State didn't score an offensive TD against Michigan in 2009. I'm so sick of Sean McDonough's voice. Sad Keanu is sad.

Well, forget about the telestrator, Forget about analyzing it, just watch this! The commentators are calling it the play of the year, they refer to it as the "pin ball" interception. What an awesome play in the face of adversity. Go Hawks. Tyler Sash again shows the potent defense of the hawkeyes. The best part is at the very end and the commentator says "it's been that kind of a day for the hawkeyes". Indiana quarterback Ben Chappell's pass bounced off three different players at the line of scrimmage and landed in the hands of Iowa safety Tyler Sash, who returned it 86 yards for a touchdown. Someone is definitely smiling on these Hawkeyes, who improved to 9-0 on Saturday despite the worst possible first half, despite its quarterback throwing five interceptions (four in the third quarter), despite Chappell shredding its previously stingy defense for three quarters. As if on cue, the Hawkeyes, down 24-14 late in the third quarter, rolled off four straight fourth-quarter touchdowns (the first two coming on long Stanzi touchdown passes) against a hard-luck Hoosiers (4-5) team that blew a 28-3 lead to Northwestern just a week earlier. Final score: 42-24. Luck continues to favor the Hawkeyes -- and in the wake of all those recent SEC officiating controversies, many around the country are sure to grumble about the unusual number of breaks Iowa caught from the guys in the booth when the game was still in doubt. One replay review negated an apparent Indiana touchdown in which the ...

It was October 27th, 1979, the homecoming game against Indiana. And with six seconds left and the score tied at 21-21, the greatest play in the history of Michigan football was about to take place. It has been 30 years since that play, and 30 years since what is often considered Bob Ufer's greatest moment in the booth at Michigan Stadium. This week's episode (which by no coincidence premiers the week of Michigan's homecoming game against Indiana) is dedicated to that play's landmark anniversary. Matt Smith (age 15) in one of his first interviews after winning the Ohio World's Fastest Drummer Competition in 2005. Matt was the youngest competitor to perform 1000 single strokes in 60 seconds when he accomplished the feat in Akron, Ohio, July 2005 (15 years 7 months). The previous Ohio record had been 924. What garnered even more attention at that event and forever made him a staple in speed drumming, was his subsequent victory over speed drumming legend Johnny Rabb in a friendly exhibition just 20 minutes later. In November of that same year he beat his 16 and under world record with a score of 1026 at the Michigan State WFD Championships, in Flint. January 2006 he scored 1061 in the 2006 WFD Anaheim World Championships, and topped that again with a score of 1109 six months later at the World Championships in Austin, Texas. In total Matt was the WFD 16 and under World Champion for two years before his record was topped by Canadian Tom Grossett. June 2008, Matt set the all around traditional grip world record with a score of 1132, toppling the five year mark held by Mike Mangini. That was was Matt Smith's last recorded competition. Matt Smith speed drumming world records. In an era of false speed drumming claims via youtube and other means, Matt has held or continues to hold seven world records through verfiable legitimate competition/ the only resource where actual world records are recognized by a governing body. www.ourhonordefend.com This game really catapulted Ohio State's national title run. Everyone knew Washington State was good this year. The Buckeyes shutting down their offense after their first score on their first drive of the game, with Washington State running over most of the Pac 10 en route to a Rose Bowl confirmed the Buckeyes were for real. The Buckeyes were kind of blessed to have this game on the schedule. Maurce Clarett gets the game ball. He had 31 carries for 236 yards and 2 TDs.
