Champions! Oklahoma State 2011 13 hurt as Cowboys' supporters celebrate school's victory over rival Oklahoma Thousands of fans stormed the field and tore down goalposts after Oklahoma State's 44-10 victory over archrival Oklahoma, leaving at least 13 people injured, including two in critical condition, medical authorities said early Sunday. Michael Authement, who heads the command post at emergency medical provider LifeNet EMS, told The Associated Press that a throng so big took to the field as the game ended that some fans were trampled and one person fell at least 15 feet onto concrete during a wild celebration by Oklahoma State fans. No. 13 Oklahoma State routed the Sooners on Saturday night to win the Big 12 championship and make its case to play for the BCS national title. The Cowboys (11-1, 8-1 Big 12) snapped an eight-game losing streak in the rivalry and won their first outright conference title since 1948 in the three-team Missouri Valley. "They won the game and stormed the field and ripped down the goalposts and some were jumping off the stands and hit the field and others got trampled. It was a nasty deal," Authement said.
Oklahoma State looks to make their case for a national title bid with a win over archrival Oklahoma. Can the Sooners crush the title hopes of the Cowboys? Click to hear the Inside College Football panel break down this game.

Oklahoma State trailed UTSA by 11 points with just a little over two minutes remaining at Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Cowboys fought back, but still trailed by six with only a few seconds left to play. Freshman guard Cezar Guerrero became the hero of the game, scoring a conventional three-point play, then seizing an inbound pass to drain a 3-pointer to tie the game and send the Cowboys and Roadrunners to overtime. Oklahoma State ultimately prevailed 90-85 to advance to the NIT semifinals at Madison Square Garden. Guerrero ended the night with a game-high 29 points, matching a school record for points scored by a freshman.
With the bye last week, we thought we would try something a little different for this week's hit tape. The song "All In" was written and produced by J Shade of Des Moines and Iowa State defensive tackle Jake McDonough. Click the embedded video player below to see this week's hit tape.
Highlights from Oklahoma State's 90-85 overtime win over UTSA in the second round of the 2011 Dick's Sporting Goods NIT Season Tipoff at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater. Cezar Guerrero tied a school single-game record for a freshman with 29 points, and OSU overcame an 11-point deficit in the final 2-1/2 minutes as the Oklahoma State Cowboys defeated UTSA 90-85 in overtime. The win advances OSU to New York City to face Stanford in the championship semifinal of the Season NIT Tip-Off. Down 71-60 with 2-1/2 minutes remaining in regulation, it appeared that the Cowboys would suffer their first loss of the young season. Jean-Paul Olukemi was fouled and scored both free throws to cut the lead to single digits. After three-consecutive possessions resulted in turnovers, Reger Dowell hit a three pointer, cutting the lead to six at 71-65. Michael Hale, who had a team-high 26 points for UTSA, hit 1-of-2 from the line. Olukemi was fouled again, and hit both shots from the stripe to cut it to five. A layup by Igor Nujic with 1:12 left in the game gave the Roadrunners a three-possession lead. Olukemi grabbed the rebound off a Guerrero miss, and was fouled again, connecting on both FTs. A miss by Nujic and a defensive board by Guerrero led to a follow make by Le'Bryan Nash, cutting the UTSA lead to three. Hale hit both free throws after being fouled by Fred Gulley, putting UTSA ahead 76-71 with 27 seconds remaining. A missed three by Dowell, and a foul by Markel Brown gave Nujic a ...

Full cinematic highlights - including pregame, halftime and postgame locker room speeches by Tim Beckman and head coach Mike Gundy - from the 2008 meeting between #17 Oklahoma State and #2 Missouri at Faurot Field, where the Cowboys won 28-23. No. 17 Oklahoma State stopped an offense that had been scoring at will, intercepting Daniel's passes three times in the second half and upsetting the third-ranked Tigers 28-23 victory on Saturday night. Zac Robinson and Damian Davis hooked up on a pair of long scores in the second half, and Patrick Lavine's interception at the Oklahoma State 31 with 1:41 to go was the clincher. Missouri (5-1, 1-1 Big 12) had appeared poised to challenge for No. 1 with a strong effort after top-ranked Oklahoma lost to Texas and No. 2 Alabama had the weekend off. As for the Cowboys (6-0, 2-0), they're 6-0 for the second time since 1945 after going 18-19 in coach Mike Gundy's first three seasons. "They're going to be at least No. 2 if they win," Gundy said of the Tigers. "I'm just really happy for our team. They put in a lot of hard work and effort, and they deserve it." And it was Robinson, not Daniel, who played like a Heisman Trophy contender. Robinson was 19-for-28 for 215 yards and two touchdowns. Kendall Hunter had 154 yards on 24 carries and a 68-yard scoring run. Daniel was fourth in the Heisman voting last season and considered a front-runner for the award through the first month of this season. He put up some more big numbers, 39-for-52 for ...
Highlights from #6 Oklahoma State's 38-26 win at #22 Texas during the 2011 college football season. Jeremy Smith ran for 140 yards on seven carries, scoring on runs of 30 and 74 yards straight up the middle of the defense, and No. 6 Oklahoma State rode several big plays to a 38-26 over the No. 22 Longhorns win on Saturday. Justin Gilbert tied a school record with his fourth career kickoff return for a touchdown and the Cowboys (6-0, 3-0 Big 12) now have won two years in a row in Austin after 12 consecutive years of excruciating defeats. "It's not easy to come down here and win and they're a much better team football team than they were last year," Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy said. "We never know who's going to be the guy that makes big plays for our offense. We have so many weapons that they have to continue to play unselfish and Jeremy's just kind of been there the last few weeks." Brandon Weeden passed for 218 yards with a touchdown to Justin Blackmon for Oklahoma State. Smith, who has run for a touchdown in 10 consecutive games for the highest-scoring offense in the country, made his latest two look easy. The first came in the second quarter on fourth-and-inches when he ran off left tackle. There was no defender to meet him and he coasted to the end zone. The second came in the third quarter and put the Cowboys ahead 38-24. Smith ran straight up the middle and Texas linebackers Keenan Robinson and Jordan Hicks got washed out of the play, leaving no defender within ...
Oklahoma State took back the second half opening kickoff for a long return TD. Texas answered with one of equal distance on the ensuing kickoff.
Highlights from #6 Oklahoma State's dominating 70-28 rout of Kansas during the 2011 Big 12 football season. Brandon Weeden threw for 288 yards and five touchdowns before being pulled out of a lopsided game before halftime, and Oklahoma State matched its highest scoring total from the last 94 years in a 70-28 rout of the Jayhawks on Saturday. "It was pretty efficient," coach Mike Gundy said. "Some days, things just work, you know? You hit a golf ball and it hits a tree limb and bounces back in the fairway." Everything the Cowboys did was working. Jamie Blatnick recovered a fumble and leaped to tip an interception to himself for two of the Cowboys' four first-half takeaways, and Oklahoma State (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) scored touchdowns on all eight of its possessions before halftime against the nation's worst defense. "I've never been a part of anything like that," Weeden said. "We scored every time we touched it." Kansas (2-3, 0-2) came in allowing a Bowl Subdivision-worst 44.3 points per game, and Oklahoma State had already surpassed that total with 4 minutes left in the second quarter on Weeden's second TD pass to All-American receiver Justin Blackmon. That score made it 49-7, and backup Clint Chelf tacked on a 3-yard TD pass to Hubert Anyiam with 12 seconds left before halftime to give OSU 56 consecutive points. Chelf added 206 yards on 14 for 21 passing with two TDs. The 494 yards passing allowed were the most ever for Kansas, surpassing the 481 by North Carolina State ...
Full music video highlights from #7 Oklahoma State's come-from-behind win at Texas A&M, including comments from Coach Gundy. Brandon Weeden threw for a school-record 438 yards and two scores and Justin Blackmon and Josh Cooper combined for 244 yards receiving as No. 7 Oklahoma State rallied for a 30-29 win over No. 8 Texas A&M on Saturday. "We came out confident in the second half," Blackmon said. "We knew we could come back if we played our game and executed the game plan (and) that's what we did." The Aggies built a 20-3 halftime lead before the Cowboys (4-0, 1-0 Big 12) took advantage of three Texas A&M turnovers and numerous penalties to reel off 27 straight points to take a 30-20 lead. Oklahoma State won its fourth straight in the series and its seventh overall on the road in the first top 10 matchup at Kyle Field since 1975. It marks the first time the Cowboys have won consecutive games in College Station. It could be the last time these teams meet in conference play with the Aggies likely headed to the Southeastern Conference next season. It was a fact not lost on the few Oklahoma State fans in attendance who chanted, "Big 12, Big 12" as the final seconds of the game ticked away. Highlights from Oklahoma State's dominating 65-17 win over Washington State to open the 2010 football season at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater. Kendall Hunter rushed for 257 yards and four touchdowns out of Oklahoma State's new-look offense and the Cowboys beat Washington State 65-17 on Saturday night. Oklahoma State (1-0) hired offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen away from Houston during the off-season and Hunter thrived in Holgorsen's system, scoring on runs of 3, 9, 2 and 39 yards. Brandon Weeden threw three touchdown passes for the Cowboys, all to Justin Blackmon and Blackmon also scored on a 7-yard blocked punt return. The Cowboys have won 15 straight home openers, the longest streak in school history. Oklahoma State's point total was its highest since a 66-24 win over Baylor on Nov. 11, 2006.
