Classic Game Room HD reviews FORZA Motorsport 3 for Xbox 360. Forza 3 is the huge sequel to the immensely popular Forza 2 which was released in 2007. This CGR review of Forza 3 has gameplay from Forza 3 showing game play of cars in Forza 3 on Xbox 360 in HD. Numerous makes and models, dozens of tracks and car customization "Forza" style, Forza 3 packs a lot of content but differs little from Forza 2. Visually the game is a bit disappointing with stale graphics, sloppy backgrounds and stereotypical weather effects. This is 2009 and they can do better. Need for Speed Shift did better and I expected more from Forza 3. As CGR is an avid Forza 2 fan there's a bit of hair splitting disappointment with Forza 3, but it's still an amazing game packing hours and weeks of gameplay. The graphics creation program is relatively similar except this time you can design on a white clipboard rather than just on the hood of the car. Numerous new cars are in the game like the Nissan 370 Z, numerous old cars are in the game like the old school Chevrolet Camaro. Most of your favorite tracks from the previous game return, a nice cockpit view is added and collision damage is as much fun as it ever was. A crappy rewind feature was inserted to make Forza 3 more casual and I felt it was generally easier all around. Fans of the series may feel like they've seen it all before, others may not care and soak up the cockpit view and new tracks. In any event, Forza 3 delivers a lot of driving on Xbox 360.

Ferrari is a protagonist this week in the Emirates in the run-up to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix week end, and the last race of the F1 season. The worlds largest Ferrari Store was officially inaugurated today in Dubai, with more than 1000 square metres of single-storey floor space entirely devoted to the Prancing Horse. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was hosted by Ferrari drivers, Kimi Raikkonen and Giancarlo Fisichella, together with Shafqat Malik, CFO Aldar Properties and Chairman of Fadar Retail, and Edwin Fenech, General Manager Ferrari Middle East & Africa. The Ferrari drivers also performed the now-traditional signing of the store counter. A Ferrari California showcased in the front windows, and right outside the new Ferrari Store, a selection of both new and classic cars was displayed. I would go out and buy them and resale them for always a profit, especially since I only had $700 in this fine haul truck, [easy to turn a profit that way],and it just kept towing and towing to the dismay of my competitors who were driveing $50000 new trucks and just flat out could not compete with my prices, it was real bad when their trucks would break and to save $ they had to call the old "Dinosaur" to rescue them,lol...

The Electric Starion is now at a drivable state and we take her for a spin at the annual electric car show in Sydney. Some say that by international standards, the AEVA show is probably not a huge event, but conversely, for a small population, there is a high proportion of interest in evs in Australia plus R&D attracting international attention, despite little interest from the government to date (although the recent Climate Ready initiative may change this). Many types of makes and models of new and old cars converted to electric drive were on display; regular daily commute vehicles, sports cars, classic cars, electric bikes, roadsters, hotrods and even a Formula 'E' race car. The 'H' word was well and truly overshadowed by 'full EV' and many people were interested in how to get their own fully-electric cars. There was one vehicle, a Prius with a K2 battery pack for extended range; these are small lithium phosphate cells up to 3200 milliamp hour, banded together into modules to make up the required voltages and they have a high energy density and handle a high charging current, ideal for regen braking. Partnering with PSA (aka Peugeot and Citroën) BMW invested a lot in two new engines for the Mini Cooper, in order to rid itself of the Chrysler-derived, South-American-built mills found in the old car. The new power plants are built at bmw's own Hams Hall engine plant, a short lorry ride away from the Mini assembly plant in Oxford. This alone accounts for a big chunk of the increase in UK-sourced parts content from 40 to 60 percent.
