Apologies for the lack of co-ordination during the raid. 1st part of patch 3.3 was going out tonight and it caused a few D/C's and lag issues. Tactics for this is, Phase 1 - Tank and spank, Heroism at 67% Phase 2 - Ranged stay on onyxia until 42%. Melee kill the elites (high priority), then the welps. 2 tanks to pick up adds. 3rd tank to pick up elite (can be done with 2 tanks, but 3 is safer) Assign an offtank to pick up elites. Onyxia tank should be on welps. 42% all ranged should switch to kill any elites and welps, before bringing onyxia down at 40%. Phase 3 = tank and spank. Make sure all welps/Elites are dead before dpsing onyxia. Assign a shaman for tremor totem for onyxia tank.

Thanks for watching my tactics video for the 25 man version of the Onyxia raid. This is for the level 80 version. This can also be watched for tacts on the 10 man version, when the raids are almost the same. Little Aggnicia vs Huge Dragon! Onyxia returns in Patch 3.2.2 retuned for level 80 players! The classic battle is relived with some new changes. Noticeable changes from my PoV: -Onyxia is tauntable. -Deep Breath is considerably smaller in 10-man mode. -Whelps are considerably tougher. -Onyxia cannot be melee'd when she is in the air. -A new elite add spawns periodically during the air phase. Aequitas Veritas an easy going raiding guild on Twisting Nether. This was our first kill of Onyxia10 without actually knowing any of the tactics we just set of, and it went okeyish. Ok so, onyxia's lair raid returns to WoW as a level 80 raid, there will be 10 and 25 man mode, normal & heroic and I believ tacts wont be the same as in the vanilla world of warcraft (WoW). The Fourth Boss of Ulduar Tactics: Take the boss to the right of the the room with him facing right and begin dps, at 75% (50%,25%) XT-002 will become untargetable but his heart will drop out increasing his damage taken by 100% so everyone should nuke it. Once that has ended adds will spawn that range dps must kill and scrapbots tanks must kill on their own at the end of this the melee should have got the boss to 50% for another heart phase rinse and repeat.
I was bored and decided to see if onyxia could be soloed after the mirror image and crit nerf. Soloing Onyxia succesfully on a mage is currently harder then any other class. (I dont count rogues since they havent sucessfully managed it yet :P) The result was a rather awkward arcane frost build combining some of Faxmonkeys and Cinondras tactics.
