Here is a video featuring a Tornado Warned Supercell that we chased for over 4 hours on June 7th. We traveled through Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri to catch up with this beautiful storm. The Supercell produced hail larger than baseball size at times as we drove through the city of Oregon, Missouri. It came close to producing a Tornado but failed to do so...otherwise it contained numerous rotating wall clouds and frequent lightning. During the evening hours, we found ourselves being hit by hail and caught in very strong RFD (rear flank downdraft) winds as the mesocyclone passed north of us.
