Daeth/Durigen vs. not one, not two, but THREE marshmellows at the same time. On a skewer. With very little chocolate left in the fondue pots. For those wondering, the brown marshmellows are coated with crushed graham crackers and the black marshmellows are coated with crushed oreo cookies.
Ingredients 75g Butter, melted, plus extra for greasing 175g digestive biscuits 175g Blueberries, plus extra for decorating 450g cream cheese 150g caster sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 4 Eggs, lightly beaten icing sugar, to dust Method 1. Preheat the oven to 180/gas 4. Butter the sides and base of a 24cm cake tin. 2. Place the biscuits into a food processor and pulse until the mixture resembles rough breadcrumbs. Alternatively, place them into a plastic bag and bash with a rolling pin. Mix the crushed biscuits with the melted butter and press down into the base of the tin. Spread the blueberries over the base and allow to chill in the fridge until needed. 3. Beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract and the eggs together in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Pour over the top of the blueberries and then bake in the oven for 40 minutes, or until pale golden and only wobbles slightly when you gently shake the tin. 4. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the tin for about 10-15 minutes, then run a knife around the edge to loosen it and carefully remove the cheesecake from the tin. Transfer to a serving plate. Sprinkle over a few blueberries, then dust with icing sugar. 5. Cut into slices to serve. This cheesecake is best eaten when it is at room temperature. Cooks note: You can experiment with all kinds of (dry) sweet biscuits or cookies for the base; just crush them the way you would the digestives above. Try using a chocolate biscuit base and omitting the blueberries.

In 1985, the Dairy Queen system began blending simple combinations of candies, fruit, cookies, nuts and DQ soft serve to create the signature Blizzard Flavor Treat. The Blizzard is the Dairy Queen systems single greatest dessert innovation in 23 years. More than 175 million were sold during its inaugural year. Since the late 1950s, the DQ system has owned the Blizzard trademarkback when it was an ultra thick, rich, shake-like treat without fruit, cookies or candy ingredients. The Dairy Queen system first used the word concrete to describe a Blizzard treat made without any candy added in. Upon further testing, candy was added and the word concrete dropped from the name. * Since its introduction more than 75 Blizzard flavors have been introduced, including Caramel Waffle Crisp, Tin Roof Brownie, Chocolate Xtreme and Strawberry CheeseQuake®. One-of-a-kind holiday favorites include Pumpkin Pie, Yule Flip Peppermint Chip and, for Valentines Day, Choco Cherry Love. * The top five most popular Blizzard flavors are: Oreo® Cookie, Chocolate chip cookie dough, M&Ms®, Reeses® Peanut Butter Cups and Butterfinger®. The Dairy Queen system began a Blizzard of the Month program in 2003, spotlighting new and favorite flavors. * Dairy Queen locations in China serve Green Tea Blizzard treats. On June 21, 2005, the Dairy Queen system garnered a Guinness Worlds Record for the largest frozen treat. Built in Springfield, Mass., to celebrate the Blizzard treats 20th birthday, the 22-foot ...
Yay it's Crystal's birthday! Where's the most fun place to go? The Melting Pot! The experience is worth the price. :D Well I think so anyway. haha. [SORRY I RECORDED THIS ON MY PHONE and didn't know which way to record it so you might have to tilt your head to the left! lol] This is a video of my favorite course during our four course meal.... dessert (chocolate fondue)! The pot on the left was called the flaming turtle. (they light it on fire) I think it consisted of milk chocolate swirled together with caramel and topped with crushed pecans. The pot on the right was called cookies n' creme and consisted of milk chocolate swirled together with a marshmallow creme topped with oreo crumbs. (it was also lit on fire :D) After they light it on fire to melt and heat everything together they give you delicous dippers such as: strawberries, bananas, pineapple, rice krispies, brownies, marshmallows dipped in oreo crumbs or graham crackers, and pound cake. Also it comes with cheesecake, but you can't dip that because it would fall apart. (so you just drizzle the chocolate on it) I love the melting pot. It's so yummy and fun!
