OTTAWA POLICE VIDEO. www.cbc.ca VANCOUVER RCMP ROBERT Dziekanski www.cbc.ca
Ottawa Police Chief Vern White's limp response to a judge's ruling that four of his officers unlawfully detained, violently assaulted and strip-searched a young Black woman: Ottawa Police Sgt. Steve Desjourdy, the officer caught on videotape cutting a young female prisoner's shirt and bra off with a pair of scissors, will be forbidden from dealing with the public until the conclusion of an internal police investigation. What does this tell us? Far from firing this thug, or at the very least suspending him without pay until the conclusion of his two-years-late "internal investigation," Chief White will retain him on the force at full salary.* And the other officers involved in the gang assault on the 100-pound Stacy Bonds are still out there "dealing with the public." Not a good start, Chief. By what he assures us is a coincidence, White has just announced measures to deal with racial profiling by his troops. The initiative was actually begun by order of the Ontario Human Rights Commission, after a well-publicized case of racist antics by the Ottawa police--six years ago. (The police cleared themselves of any blame in this incident after one of those "internal investigations." The OHRC disagreed.) Meanwhile we await the results of another human rights hearing after another "internal investigation" cleared another cop--five years ago. What saved young Chad Aiken's version of events was an audio recording of his encounter. The vicious police assault on Stacy Bonds took place ...

A judge has released a portion of surveillance video showing the controversial strip search of a woman by Ottawa police officers in September 2008. The video shows Stacy Bonds, 27, being forced to the ground and pinned by four police officers before having her bra cut off. Justice Richard Lajoie, of the Ontario Court of Justice, released the video to the Ottawa Citizen after the newspaper filed an application. Bonds was strip searched after being arrested on Rideau Street for public intoxication — a charge stayed by Lajoie in a verbal ruling issued on Oct. 27. The video shows four police officers leading Bonds into a cell area at the Elgin Street police headquarters. When Bonds doesn't immediately turn to face the table-area, a female officer knees her twice in the upper leg, then grabs the woman's hair and forces her into place. Bonds is held by at least one of her wrists by a male officer as the female officer removes her boots. The video then shows an officer reaching into the pocket of Bonds's pants and pulling out a handful of change, which is thrown onto a table. At one point, Bonds kicks behind her, catching the female officer in the leg. The officer limps out of the frame, and another male officer can be seen entering the room. Four male police officers force Bonds to the ground and place a riot shield over her legs. A male officer leaves the room and returns with a box. He then cuts the back of Bonds's shirt and bra, leaving her back exposed. The female officer ...

I love the police, a little out of hand for sure. Did Bonds do something to provoke this harshness by the men and woman in blue? Shocking video revealed. Two years ago a young woman named Stacy Bonds was walking along an Ottawa sidewalk on her way to a friend's house. Bonds is 27, just five feet tall, weighs barely 100 pounds. She's not a trouble-maker, has no criminal history, no record of causing problems for police. She had horrors enjoyed a few drinks, though a judge ruled later that she was not drunk. Two police officers stopped her, checked her out, discovered she was harmless and told her to be on her way. She took a few steps, then stopped and asked them why they'd stopped her in the first place That got her handcuffed, thrown in the back of a cruiser and spirited off to the police station, where police pulled her hair, kneed her in the back a couple of times, slammed her to the ground with a riot shield, cut off her clothes and bra while a few male officers watched, and strip-searched her. Shirt was cut off and bra cut off also. That done, they threw her in a cell, half-naked, for three hours. They charged her with public drunkenness though she wasn't and with aggressive behaviour, though a video showed that wasn't true either. The judge, rightly, denounced the whole episode, noting there was "no reason, apart from vengeance and malice, to have left Ms. Bonds in the cell for a period of three hours and 15 minutes half-naked and having soiled her pants, before she ...

Video Footage I secured while freelancing a job. I've been quite concerned about all the wildlife getting shot the past few weeks in the Capial Region. This particular incident shortly followed the shooting of a 3rd moose in 2 weeks by Ottawa Police. The bear in this video was shot by Gatineau Police while it raiding a garbage bin nestled on the border of a heavy wooded area near Gatineau hills in Quebec. My media outlet refused it. Unfortunately it was thought not newsworthy enough to pay for. The video is geotagged to show how close this is to forests and protected land

This is the RAW video that does not have sound but is longer and shows the cop following for about 3:45 before lighting them up. Note that the motorcyclist is not driving erratic, and they both stop at the various stop signs. No indication of them running. The cop did not light them up till after they accelerated from that last stop sign....and seeing as from there till the crash/shooting is a short distance I would not call that running from the police just yet.
Student Marc Kelly was unilaterally deregistered by University Vice-President Governance Diane Davidson in late November. In her words: "it has been decided that it is in everyone's interest that you pursue your studies at another university. Your attempted onlinel registration for the Winter 2010 session is not accepted." Kelly was then delivered with a No Trespassing Notice barring him from University of Ottawa lands and buildings. In Part 1, Kelly is present in the Student Federation of the University of Ottawa (SFUO)'s academic appeals service, the Student Appeals Centre (SAC), making an appeal of his illegal deregistration, when University Security and then Ottawa Police arrive to arrest him for trespass, despite legal explanations of the occupancy rights (by rental agreement) of an SAC coordinator, Mireille Gervais. As seen in Part 1, Seamus Wolfe, SFUO President, is asked by the sergeant to obtain a copy of the SFUO's rental agreement, and leaves to obtain it. In Part 2, Seamus attempts to clarify with the sergeant why the police asked for the rental agreement and then proceeded to enter the office anyway, without reading it, to arrest a student. Mr. Wolfe was subsequently arrested.

If it doesn't get seen on the MSM, it never happened. So how long will it be before tptb suppress this from yt? Authorities said Tuesday afternoon that they had called off their search of the Ottawa River following an overnight sighting of unusual, bright lights near the Deschenes Rapids. According to an Ottawa Police Service media release, Ottawa and Gatineau police, fire services, paramedics and Canadian Forces Base Trenton's search and rescue team called off their search Tuesday afternoon. Const. Alain Boucher said Ottawa police received several reports that lights were seen travelling at high speeds on the Ottawa River, which could indicate that an aircraft crashed near the rapids at the Britannia Yacht Club about 10 pm on Monday. Boucher said there were also reports that some witnesses heard a loud bang shortly after seeing the lights. Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Couple cops too lazy to follow by-laws and traffic laws while on break. By essentially blocking off a turning lane, they force all other drivers to commit traffic infractions in order to complete their left turn. They claim to be ''observing traffic'' yet there isn't any traffic to be seen from their vantage point (not counting those sitting on tables). The complainant was defied by the agent receiving the complaint to ''do whatever you want with it''. Consider it done!
