One of my favorites on the album. Once again, my camera mic kinda sucks. I didn't even bother to try and overlay the music, because I wasn't listening to the song to keep in time, I was just playing by memory, so I probably played something a little to fast or a little to slow, so it would be out of sync even if I got it to line up. Another reason why is because I'm just not gonna take the risk of getting a copyright strike. If you really want to hear it, put the mp3 over it yourself. You can add music in yourself, but you can't take music out, so this satisfies both people who want just drum noise and people who want the music too. This level took longer than I thought it would take. Anyway, the usual changes here, plus a few more. - Centered 2nd line of title. - Slightly relocated various red coins, normal coins, and ? clouds. - Moved the block wall at 0:33 one block left, along with the following two clouds and the nearby coins. (This is actually pretty significant, as it allows the green block to be on-screen while on the right side of the wall, without having to hover out over the pit. See 1:18.) - Removed 3 red coins. There were actually 22 originally, but one of them always disappeared in YIKR1, so I removed that one. And there were two lines of vertical red coins that I could not think of a good way to modify, so I just removed one red coin from each. (If you're wondering, I added the red coin in the center at 1:50.) - Replaced a flower with a locked door to a bonus area, to use up the extra key. (Yes, I know the bonus area is a little bland... There was no more room for sprites. I actually had to remove one enemy to be able to add the invisible pipe. It's possible! Video and audio quality are low because I recorded using a cellphone camera (videos from cellphone record in 21 fps and Fraps don't show real game performance). This is a small primitive sound on sound jam that I did with my modded RV-3 [ High Cut switch / mod, white LED]. I did a demo of the RV-3 vs. the RV-5 and decided to showcase a portion of the RV-3 aside that I dig a lot for jamming out on. I use mode 7 (Delay + Plate Reverb) and the High Cut switch set to Cut. The settings are as followed: Mix: 70 Feedback: 100 Time: 100 I just keep on stacking into it so it keeps growing and growing and decaying and decaying. This works best with the High Cut switch engaged because it enables for a smoother texture. I had the RV-3 in the chain after the Keeley C4 and the Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret [not used], after that is the rest of the chain. Everything is used besides the DMM [for a change ;)] and the Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret. The oscillations you hear on the half of the vid are the Echo Park, not the RV-3.
