www.tonefactor.com - The Disaster Transport Jr. is an analog voiced digital delay with 625ms delay time, all analog dry signal path and true bypass. It was designed as an anti-modern delay for those who appreciate a nice tape echo with all it's peculiarities. It's unique tone control doubles as a noise filter on longer delay settings and really helps the delay shine with a dirty signal. The mix control allows you to boost the effected signal to nearly 4x the original signal level and the repeats control goes from one signal repeat to near infinite repeats all the way through to self oscillation. Controls Mix- Sets the output level of the effected signal. This should be treated as a gain control/master volume for the delay line. Unity is around noon and everything above noon will boost the delayed signal louder than the original. This is a gain control so, like any pedal with a lot of gain, a hint of noise and distortion at max setting is completely normal. Tone- Most delay pedals are heavily filtered at the output to remove the clock noise and other unwanted hash that is common from extending the range of the delay time beyond the limit of the circuitry. This usually leaves the delay sounding dark, muddy and disappear when hitting it with dirt. The Disaster Transport has done away with a lot of the heavy filtering and replaced it with a tone control which allows the user to choose their desired sound and results in more natural tape-like repeats. The tone control is at ...
The GMG color management ensures consistent color results in large format printing. The visual color impression is preserved, regardless of the printing process, press and substrate. GMG SmartProfiler and a corresponding measuring device put users in a position to very quickly and easily calibrate a wide range of large-format printers, and create their own color profiles. The high-quality color conversions offered by GMG ColorServer optimally convert colors to the color space of the required output devices. This leads to a higher quality and flexibility.

www.hifonics.com Hifonics Zeus series amplifiers. Designed to complement the Brutus D-Class line, this series has a newly designed, ultra-cool vertical fin heat-dissipating design. The outstanding line of Zeus amplifiers includes one 2-channel, three 4-channel, and one 5 channel amplifier. The key feature for these amplifiers is the vertical fin heat-sink. With the new vertical fin heat-sink design these amplifiers have better heat dissipation and therefore run more efficient resulting in less impact on a cars battery and charging system than many other amps available today. Translated into cost, thatÍs more wattage output with less battery current used, equaling more watts per dollar. This series also includes the ZXi60.4 +1K model. This 5 channel amplifier provides 2 channel, 4 channel, and Super D mono-block performance. For someone looking for ease of installation and space-savings, this is this amplifier of choice. This one amplifier is capable of powering an entire system including four speakers and a subwoofer! Rather than bridging two amplifiers, which takes up additional space, this one does it all. Zeus amplifiers utilize the latest in Hifonics exclusive technology with Ultra-Fi MOSFET output devices, responsible for decreasing distortion and producing high fidelity. With Ultra-Fi, Zeus differential inputs combat electrical interference and noise at the pre-amp sections RCA inputs. As a result, this high-speed Ultra-Fi circuitry delivers the cleanest and widest ...

When you use mouse to move inside of computer image, the dice is moved by Servo Motor and programming. Output Devices Used: *Interface Kit *LED *Servo Motor *Phidget Advanced Servo 8 Motor *IR Reflective Sensor 10cm *Electric Wire Describe of Processing input to actuator output: When I move the mouse the dice will move randomly using Servo Motor, The faster you move the mouse the faster the rotation will be. If someone decided to touch the dice, warning light will flash. Design process: I designed to use Interface kit, LED, Servo Motor, Phidget Advanced Servo 8 Motor, IR Reflective Sensor 10cm and Electric Wire because there are two output devices that we have used from teacher requirement such as Servo Motor and LED. Many people who can't talk use a voice output communication aid, (VOCA) These devices use synthetic speech, computer sounds that are organized in such a way that it sounds like natural speech. Snoopi Botten takes these sounds and assigns these to pitches and time values, giving people who use these devices the ability to sing. Today, people can go Christmas caroling, sing the National Anthem, scout songs, camp songs, and anything they want. What would you do if you had a VOCA
Adriane Knoppix is a variation that is intended for blind and visually impaired people, which can be used entirely without vision oriented output devices. It was released in the third quarter of 2007 as a Live CD. Adriane Knoppix is named after Adriane Knopper, the wife of Klaus Knopper, the developer of Knoppix. Adriane has a visual impairment, and has been assisting Klaus with the development of the software. The name Adriane is also a backronym for "Audio Desktop Reference Implementation And Networking Environment".Adriane Knoppix is intended not only for the blind but also for beginners who dont know much about computers. It uses the SUSE Blinux screen reader with a phoneme generator and speech engine for normal output. en.wikipedia.org
At IDF09 Intel demonstrated a high-speed optical cable technology available next year that will connect mainstream electronic devices like laptops, HD displays, televisions, cameras, video players, ipods, docking stations and Solid State Drives (ssds) to each other using optical fiber, rather than copper wires. Developed by Intel and codenamed Light Peak, this proposed technology paves the way for a new generation of extreme computer input and output (I/O) performance, delivering 10Gb/s of bandwidth, with the potential ability to scale to 100Gbs over the next decade. At 10Gb/s, a user could transfer a full-length Blu-Ray* movie in less than 30 seconds. The company intends to work with the industry to determine the best way to make this new technology a standard.
Started to fix my Hohner Automatic Rhythm Player i got a while ago. All the PCB retainers fouled away to an undefined strange soft chewing-gum like matter, so they need replacement in the near future. Currently, i added some provisoric stuff to keep the boards in place and make the box usable. During the repair (that this video should handle), i decided to add MIDI to it, so this video now is the story about developing and making a small MIDI retrofit for this nice machine. It currently works in a very primitive way - after investing just about one day of work into it. The firmware will be enhanced to add the following features: - Using the configuration button to enable a learn mode to set the MIDI channel and assign instruments to the MIDI notes (while multiple notes can trigger the same instrument) and set other things. Input devices are MIDI note events and the green button i added at the rear, output devices are the instruments to give some feedback by playing sounds. - Implement the blocking of MIDI triggering when the internal sequencer runs, even if the hardware doesn't care about concurrent triggering, nothing can be damaged due to the diode matrix and my way of triggering the instruments being friendly to each other. - Implement MIDI out for the internal diode matrix sequencer, including MIDI clock and start/stop, which should be possible with the current hardware. MIDI note assignment also takes place in the configuration then. Not too useful, just "because we ...

Greenberg, S. and Fitchett, C. (2001) Phidgets: Easy Development of Physical Interfaces through Physical Widgets. In Proceedings of the 14th Annual ACM Symposium on User Interface Software and Technology - ACM UIST'01. (Orlando, Florida), ACM Press, pages 209-218, November 11-14. Best paper award. Earlier version as report 2001-686-09. Abstract: Physical widgets or phidgets are to physical user interfaces what widgets are to graphical user interfaces. Similar to widgets, phidgets abstract and package input and output devices: they hide implementation and construction details, they expose functionality through a well-defined API, and they have an (optional) on-screen interactive interface for displaying and controlling device state. Unlike widgets, phidgets also require: a connection manager to track how devices appear on-line; a way to link a software phidget with its physical counterpart; and a simulation mode to allow the programmer to develop, debug and test a physical interface even when no physical device is present. Our evaluation shows that everyday programmers using phidgets can rapidly develop physical interfaces.
