This is an impression of Sync' by Max Hattler and 'Bedrooms' bij Nelleke Koop with music by Dennis van Tilburg. These were part of the 'Time, what makes us tick?' installation in the Open Mind series of Pavlov E-Lab, presented on the Noorderzon Performing Arts festival 2010. In this edition Max and Nelleke collaborated with chronobiologist Martha Merrow and physicist Eric Bergshoeff in their mutual exploration of the theme of Time.

Maybe they're checking it out? araslyn has been keeping a daily journal of the sightings since July 4, 2009, and has seen them do some pretty weird stuff. She found my videos searching for others like what she saw and contacted me. Her house, it turns out, is only about 4 miles from me. So, like I've been saying. It's not just happening in MY WOODS, it's happening all over this area & I've filmed them in several different places. And others around the world are seeing/filming them too. Deer populations have undergone significant increases over the last decades. This combined with the increase in the number of vehicles on the road leads to increasing DVA rates in many states. That said, it must also be added that over half of all DVAs year-round occur during the months of November and December. In other words, during the deer hunting season! Coincidence? How about the fact that the highest daily DVA rates occur on the first day of the deer hunting season? Deer are usually very prudent in entering open spaces, such as a field or a roadway. But when hunting starts, the deer are spooked by the sudden presence of hunters in the woods, causing them to flee from the forests into traffic. How ironic that deer hunting is hailed as a deer population reduction measure when hunting has wiped out the deers natural predators, has caused higher fawn births, and has caused higher DVAs. The game agencies send press releases putting the blame on deer overpopulation, and call for more hunting as a deer population control measure! All that - and we havent yet mentioned the Compensatory Rebound Effect. That is the phenomenon of higher births following a sudden reduction in the population. Why do states like Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, PA, GA and TX which have the most hunters also have the most deer? Two white supremacists allegedly plotted to go on a national killing spree, shooting and decapitating black people and ultimately targeting Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, federal authorities said Monday. In all, the two men whom officials describe as neo-Nazi skinheads planned to kill 88 people _ 14 by beheading, according to documents unsealed in US District Court in Jackson, Tenn. The numbers 88 and 14 are symbolic in the white supremacist community. The spree, which initially targeted an unidentified predominantly African-American school, was to end with the two men driving toward Obama, "shooting at him from the windows," the court documents show. "Both individuals stated they would dress in all white tuxedos and wear top hats during the assassination attempt," the court complaint states. "Both individuals further stated they knew they would and were willing to die during this attempt." An Obama spokeswoman traveling with the senator in Pennsylvania had no immediate comment. APOLOGIZE FOR THE POOR VIDEO QUALITY. This was the debut of a new format ( www.palottery.state.pa.us ) for the Pennsylvania Lottery nighttime televised drawings at 6:59 PM ET. The reason for the changes was because a new game was added to the day and night drawings called Quinto. This was the first nighttime drawing of that game. From now on in the TV drawings, the drawing official will press one button to automatically select winning numbers for each of three games -- The Daily Number, BIG 4 and Quinto. Winning numbers for CASH 5, mix and match, and MATCH 6 lotto have been drawn using one button per drawing since each of the games' inception. That part of the drawing will remain the same. This drawing was aired on WPVI channel 6 in Philadelphia. Any comments on the changes? Alex Kummant is Amtrak's president. In this video, I ask him for the truth about how many Amtrak daily job commuters were forced off Amtrak's trains by the near-doubling of commuting fares since the beginning of 2005. Pennsylvania and Delaware commuters pay about $5000 to $7000 more to get to work now than they did three years ago. It is my belief and contention that the fare increase actually drove most of the commuters off the trains, and Amtrak probably gets less revenue from commuters now than it did before the huge increase in fares, which was phased in mostly during the 2006 fiscal year. In September, 2006, Alex Kummant, Amtrak's President, sent a poorly researched and error-filled letter to three concerned members of Congress in which he claimed the fare increase was justified, in part, because monthly pass sales had "only" dropped 19.8% on the Northeast Corridor (which is actually rather huge, if you ask me!!), and that revnue was up around 3% as a result, so the increase was justified. I got a copy of Mr. Kummant's letter, though, and found it to be amateurishly prepared and just plain full of errors. Mr. Kummant mis-counted the months from October through July for the purpose of analysis, thinking there were only 7 months involved, rather than 10. Some of his derived analytical numbers were based on this mis-counting of months. Some said pigs would fly before Philadelphia Newspapers was able to increase circulation and readership. And yet, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations The Philadelphia Inquirer is one of only four major metropolitan daily newspapers in the country to report an increase in circulation. Additionally, The Daily News has cut its circulation deficit by more than 75%, and increased its home delivery numbers while page views on philly.com have increased by 50% in recent months. The day has come. Circulation is up. And pigs are flying on the Philadelphia Newspapers building.
