This is an edited clip. Robert Taylor is Barry Moreland, the lawyer of Howard Trent, a blind inventor who suspects his wife Irene (Barbara Stanwyck) is having an affair with another man. As she talks in her sleep about a handsome man, tall, with dark hair and blue eyes, Howard accuses Barry of being Irene's dream lover. Barry emphatically denies the charge and Irene, angry at Howard's insane jealously, leaves the house. Shortly after Howard is killed in an explosion in his laboratory, although his corpse was never found. While Barry takes charge of the matter of inheritance, Irene moves to the beauty saloon she owns. Irene's beau (Lloyd Bochner) continues appearing to her in her dreams, but they have become terrifying nightmares since Howard's death, she always sees Howard's burned face and wakes up screaming. Her dreams are so real that she tries to find material proofs for her strange experiences while she is not sleeping. Barry not only thinks she needs a psychiatrist but he even dares to insinuate she killed her husband; Irene, unable to control her indignation, slapped him on the face. One night the dream lover comes to her again and takes her to a derelict chapel where a bizarre wedding ceremony takes place. Robert Taylor is Richard Perry, a Navy lieutenant personally apointed by President mckinley to uncover a well organized bank robbery ring operating in the Midwest, which the Secret Service has been unable to stop. mckinley thinks someone within the agency is giving information to the successful gang, and Richard is chosen to find the inside man. He meets the leaders of the gang Jock Ramsay (Victor mclaglen) and Batiste Duryea (Brian Donlevy) at the Capitol Cafe in St Paul. He also meets Batiste's stepsister Lil (Barbara Stanwyck) who is an entertainer there. Using the name of Joe Patrick, he passes for a jewelry robber and, in order to find valuable information, he romances Lil. After a while his strategy works and he joins the gang. But he also realized that his involving with Lil have become serious. When Batiste announces the next rob in Baltimore, Richard is determined to resign his assignment eloping with Lil but Ramsay intervenes and they have a quarrel, after which he decides to go ahead. As a result of the robbery, Batiste is killed and Jake and Richard are arrested being sentenced to hang. On a certain day, Wroxton confesses to Ellen that he wants her badly but she informs him that she loves another. He knows exactly who is the man she loves and later, when he hears from another maid that Ellen is enceinte, tells the Winfields the news. Ellen admits that but also declares that she is married but without revealing the name of her husband. Mr. Winfield does not believe her story, and when he warns her that he is contemplating dismissing her, Gracie reveals that Ellen is married to Dick. Wroxton then advances one step further telling the Winfields that Ellen surely engineered the marriage in order to blackmail them because she was arrested some time ago in a gambling house. The Winfields decide that she is not a decent wife for their son offering her cash in exchange for ending up her relationship with Dick; Ellen refuses to accept such an arrangement and leaves the house. Robert Taylor, in one of his typical romantic roles of the 1930s, is Richard (Dick) Winfield, the only son of a wealthy family who arrives home from college, and during the welcome party that evening finds a beautiful young lady in the house; he dances with her and after a brief talk she tells him who she really is: Ellen Neal (Loretta Young) Mrs. Winfield's personal maid. He is not disappointed at all to hear that, but for Wroxton (Basil Rathbone), the butler, who feels attracted to her (and that's the reason why he has decided to employ her a month ago), that scene is quite annoying. Jeff Olds and I (Tim Weig) rode the entire west coast of the US between July of 2008 and May of 2009. We broke it up into small chunks and did them as our work / vacation schedule allowed. We rode 1836 miles in 17 days.. from Vancouver Canada to Tijuana Mexico. It was very tough at times but always worth it. This was certainly one of the largest accomplishments in my life and I am glad that I did it. We saw some very interesting people, great scenery, and had an excellent time.

Savage Pampas was one of Taylor last appearances on screen and probably the best film he made until he had to stop working short time later. It's a remake of the 1945 Argentine film, Pampa Bárbara (also directed by Hugo Fregonese) and although it was classified as western, It has a lot more to do with epic than western. It was filmed in Spain in 70mm Super-Panorama (when it was released on vhs, original aspect ratio was not respected) and in the English version (this one) the Spanish and Argentine actors were dubbed. This a edited clip. This story takes place in the Argentine Pampas at the end of the 19th century, territory still dominated by the Indians, its Native Inhabitants. The government launches a merciless fight against them but the miserable conditions to which the army soldiers are subjected by this same government, causes a massive desertion in the army ranks putting in danger the white man's domain. Robert Taylor is Army Capt. Martin, a hard-boiled, cynical and bitter commander whose duty is not only to fight against the Indians but also to chase and to punish the deserters. Terribly concerned about his beloved horses under increasing bombardment, Colonel Podhajsky once more time asks for a permission to evacuate the School immediately but his request is also denied once more time. Plot synopsis (Continuation of clip I) ...Outraged at the mercy shown by Arthur, Modred succeeds in turning the other knights against Arthur, and civil war returns to the land. In spite of the title, this is not a war film but a wartime romance, It's just a love story with Normandy invasion as background. Keeping in mind this, you can enjoy the love scenes. But if you are a war picture fan may be you'll disappoint waiting the action scenes that take place the film's last twenty minutes. Here, Robert Taylor is the American Captain Brad Parker who is sent to serve in Great Britain in 1942. One day he visits the British Brigadier Russell's house and there meets his daughter Valerie Russell (Dana Wynter). Brad and Valerie meet again on a train bound for London, where Valerie is to work at the Red Cross Club. He is married, his wife is in the United States and she is in love with the British officer John Wynter (Richard Todd) who embarked upon a secret mission to Cairo. USS Kitty Hawk in Brisbane Sony DCR-SR82 The supercarrier, USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63), formerly CVA-63, is the second naval ship named after Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, the site of the Wright brothers' first flight. With the decommissioning of USS Constellation (CV-64) in 2003, the Kitty Hawk became the first and last ship of her class. Kitty Hawk was laid down by the New York Shipbuilding Corporation, Camden, New Jersey, 27 December 1956; and launched 21 May 1960, sponsored by Mr. Neil H. mcelroy; and commissioned 21 April 1961 at Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, Captain William F. Bringle in command. With the decommissioning of USS Independence (CV-62) on 30 September 1998 Kitty Hawk became the ship with the second longest active status in the Navy. (The USS Constitution sailing ship in Boston Harbor is 208 years old and is still retained on active Navy status.) In 2008 Kitty Hawk will be replaced as the forward-deployed carrier in Yokosuka, Japan by the USS George Washington (CVN-73). A ruthless and cunning young player, Marlo Stanfield caught everyone off guard with his insurgent campaign against the larger Barksdale crew. Although Stringer Bell was inclinded to grant generous terms to the upstart, Avon Barksdale eventually returned from prison and was disgusted to learn that a young, spirited gangster had run his boys off some prime real estate. Belatedly attempting diplomacy to avoid the violence and police attention that would result from a drug war, Bell offered membership in Prop Joe's New Day Coop and the expertise of older heads in money laundering to the younger deal. Marlo rejected any alliance however and as the war escalated, it became clear that he was very much like Bell's partner in outlook. Gangsters at heart, Avon wanted his corners and Marlo wanted Avon's crown. Even as Avon was forced to give up Bell to appease Brother Mouzone, he began to see that he had both underestimated the costs of war and Marlo as well, and that the territory in question was in no way worth the price. But the war ended abruptly with the police raid on Barksdale's safehouse. At his arraignment in a city circuit court, Avon looks back to see his younger rival taking a seat in the spectator's gallery. Avon mouths "Marlo?" and the younger dealer confirms with a nod.
