Incarcerated Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Member of Parliament Padamsinh Patil on Tuesday (July 14) sought bail in a Sessions Court, contending there was hardly any material to implicate him in the murder of Congress leader Pawanraje Nimbalkar barring statements of co-accused. Additional Sessions Judge Arvind Kale, who heard arguments of Patil's lawyer and CBI, said he will deliver order on the bail plea on July 18.
NCP leader Padamsinh Patil, who was arrested for allegedly murdering Congress leader Pawan Rajan Nimbalkar, has filed a bail plea which will be heard today in Mumbai sessions court.
CBI has recovered incriminating evidence in the murder accused Patil's residence. Padamsinh Patil is accused in the murder of a Congress leader.
Senior Nationalist Congress Party leader Praful Patel, speaking to NDTV, said that the suspension of murder accused MP Padamsinh Patil did not come late.
