Munhoz também afirmou que o estado dos dois corpos, do sexo masculino, não será apresentado. Os corpos e os itens recolhidos pela corveta Caboclo - entre eles uma mochila, um laptop e uma pasta de couro - já foram repassados para a fragata Constituição. A embarcação está a caminho de Fernando de Noronha. Os corpos serão catalogados no arquipélago e, depois, enviados ao Instituto Médico-Legal (IML) do Recife, para identificação.
