POLK COUNTY Florida Tuesday, March 30, 2010. One person was injured after an amtrak passenger train hit a van monday afthernoon. The accident occurred about 2:45 pm at Dairy road and stadium road in Auburndale. Auburndale police say the driver of the van, identified as Judy Keopsell, 59 drove around the crossing arms into the path of the train according to a witress. People flagged down the train driver to alert him the 26-year-old unnamed woman had fallen onto the tracks on Friday night. The scene shortly after up to 26 people were injured, three seriously, when a Luas tram collided with a bus at the junction of Abbey Street and OConnell Street in Dublin City center on the 16th of September just after 3pm.
