I talk about Dwight Howard taking 1 shot from the floor in Orlando's 106-103 loss to the Suns on friday. I also talk about the Heisman trophy winners and runners up. I went 11-5 in week 13 on NFL picks, which brought my overall score to 133-59 on the season. The Steelers loss to the Browns on thursday leaves me at 133-60 heading into the rest of the week 14 games. The Steelers have now lost to three of the worst teams in football: the Chiefs, the Raiders and the Browns. Although the Raiders are the most dangerous of the three. Stat of the week: of the Seahawks 5 wins, 4 of them came out home. They do have a great home field advantage, but the Seahawks can't win on the road. In their defense, they have lost road games to some tough opponents in the Cowboys, Cardinals, Colts and Vikings. The Bills have a lot of "low quality" wins this year. They can't beat the good teams. The Carolina Panthers have one of the toughest schedules in football to close the season. They play at the Pats, home vs. the Vikings, at the Giants, and home vs. the Saints. All potential playoff teams, and the Vikes and the Saints are two of the best teams in football. We've made fun of the Redskins and the Raiders a lot this year, but i've been impressed with how they've been playing lately. The Raiders have beaten both the Eagles and Steelers, although everyone's beating the Steelers these days. The Redskins lost to two of the worst teams in football: the Lions and the Chiefs, and they barely beat two of very bad teams in the Rams and the Bucs. However, the Redskins have been playing hard the last few weeks, even though they're still losing.
