One of my all time favorite wedding songs and ballads in general. It is very spiritual and has a special place in my heart . I dedicate this to my wife. It was sung at our wedding. This song was on Noel Paul Stookey's first solo album (after Peter Paul & Mary disbanded in 1971). He wrote it for ex bandmate, Peter Yarrow's for his wedding. The song is a celebration of the love of a newlywed couple and their union with God.

Thomascows version of "Puff, the Magic Dragon" is a song based on a 1959 poem by Leonard Lipton, a nineteen-year-old Cornell student. Lipton passed his poem on to friend Peter Yarrow, who created music and more lyrics to make the poem into the song. In 1961, Yarrow joined Paul Stookey and Mary Travers to form Peter, Paul and Mary. The group included the song into their live performances before recording it in 1962; their 1962 recording of "Puff" reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in early 1963. This song also spent two weeks atop the Billboard easy listening chart that same year. Enjoy
