Boise State vs. Tulsa Nice job ladies & gentlemen. ______Final Score______ #4 Boise State 41, Tulsa 21 Boise State (3-0) opened the home portion of its 2011 schedule by improving to 6-0 all-time against Tulsa. Boise quarterback Kellen Moore continued his hot start to the season, throwing four touchdowns in the win, the Broncos' 33rd straight regular season home victory. Moore finished with 279 yards while completing 23-of-29 attempts. Tulsa quarterback GJ Kinne, who suffered a knee injury last week, did play, but was ineffective, throwing for just 123 yards and four interceptions. Tulsa now drops to 1-3 but, to be fair, those losses were to Oklahoma, Boise State and Oklahoma State — all top 10 teams.

But up until the end of the third quarter, the possibility of Meyer going out on top was hardly set in stone. The Gators trailed 24-17, and really couldn't seem to get much going on offense. Nevertheless, the Gators ended up scoring the final 20 points of the game, and shut out the Nittany Lions in the fourth quarter. A late pick-six by Ahmad Black with Penn State driving deep in Florida territory ultimately sealed the deal. It was the fourth of what ended up being a five-interception day for Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin. The Gators also scored a touchdown on a blocked punt in the second quarter. The sheer amount of blunders by Penn State definitely helped them break through on a day that saw the Nittany Lions outgain them. That makes it five bowl wins in Meyer's six-year tenure as Florida's head coach. Where he goes from here is anybody's guess.
