With the an oil spill in the gulf of Mexico and another threaterning the China's yellow sea, water contamination is a hot topic right now. But it isn't just seawater contamination that people are talking about. In parts of the United States many families have had their drinking water supplies contaminated by a prosess known as Hydro-Fracking. In New York the state senate has just passed a new bill suspending permits for this practice. The bill has drawn the support of Movie star Mark Ruffalo, who himself lives close to an affected area. Heres more from New York... [Craig Sautner, Pennsylvania Hydro-Frack Victim] "This is the kind of water that comes out of my well, ever since natural gas drilling started in the area, back in 2008" Craig Sautner's water supply has been contaminated by a gas drilling process known as Hydraulic-Fracturing. Hydraulic-Fracturing or Hydro-Fracking is a process where drilling companies force millions of gallons of water and chemicals down into the ground to break through layers of rock in order to access natural gas resources below. The problem is this contaminated water seeps into the local water supply. Contaminants such as arsenic, copper and methane have been discovered in the water supply near Hydro-Fracking sites. [Craig Sautner, Pennsylvania Hydro-Frack Victim] "My daughter would get in the shower in the morning, and we had a methane remover in the house, she would get in the shower in the morning before school started and she'd have to ...

Update, April 4, 2010. As far as we know, there are currently no dogs out there. The owners claim that the last two left out there were stolen, and have been trying to pin it on Thayne. There's a good chance that Big Boy was killed at the CPHS, who has refused to state what they did with him. Their very act of refusal speaks volumes. The other two dogs were adopted from the humane society, or at least so we hear. Update, March 15, 2010: Two dogs STILL wait for help out in the woods. The black dog and the blind St. Bernard mix. Central Pennsylvania Humane Society will not release the other three dogs to rescue groups. We are demanding to know what they have done with Big Boy, who they claim is unavailable for adoption. He deserves better than life in a chain and death in a shelter. Update, March 10, 2010: Thayne, the founder of Dogs Deserve Better, is being charged with trespassing for helping these dogs get the care they needed! And what are the abusers getting? Nothing, AGAIN. Update, March 9, 2010: Update on the 7 dogs off Gypsy Hollow Rd. Tyrone, PA. We believe the chainers took the smaller dogs, the chihuahua and the matted dog. We think the humane officer took the dog with the tumor, the girl with the female problems, and the black and tan dog. There are STILL two dogs on the property: The black dog who rolls over for a belly rub, and the blind St. Bernard mix. He says he was unable to pull these two because it's NOT ILLEGAL to take a dog out to a piece of property ...

Gallup: President Obama's Job Approval Poll 50% -44% gallup.com Thanks for viewing. Visit my blog at http or follow me on Twitter at twitter.com . Senator Scott Brown (R-Massachusetts), signals the end of the Democratic majority. He won in January 2010, on the power of conservative activists, talk radio and Fox News. Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada), current Majority Leader apologized earlier for an offensive comment about the president. He's facing a difficult challenge this year. Senator Arlen Specter (D-Pennsylvania), Senator Blanche Lincoln (D-Arkansas) and Senator Barbara Boxer (D-Califonia) are facing tougher reelections. The retirements of Senator Evan Byah (D-Indiana), Senator Chris Dodd (D-Connecticut) and Senator Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota) also give the Democrats more seats to defend. Senator George Voinovich (R-Ohio) Senator Chris (Kit) Bond (R-Missouri) and Senator Jim Bunning (R-Kentucky) are retiring. Seats are toss ups right now. For Ohio, former Bush Trade official Rob Portman wants the Ohio senator's seat. For Kentucky, Congressman Ron Paul's (R-Texas) son Rand is running on the anger of the Tea Party activism. There are also US Senators from Florida, Illinois, Delaware, New Hampshire, and Colorado retiring. The Tea Party Convention in Nashville will host Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska.
